I bet those will be full of flavor. Sounds scrumptious.
Is that one plant?
Boy that’s a big ole bud.
No! Seven clones in one gallon containers, maybe 12 inches tall when set to flower. Too many containers for the canopy with hand watering! Tents vs rooms are new to me, still dialing it in!
My temps and humidity I run slightly higher during seedling and veg stage.
Veg
78° day RH 65%
70° night RH 55%
Flower
69° day RH 50%
60° night RH 42%
This has been a hands off grow at 3rd week of fower. I set it, and foget it. Other then maintaining their water for them.
I made sure to keep a strict routine as well. Watering the same time of day each feeding.
Maintain consistent environment inside the tent at all times.
Other then that, they just have amazing genetics and the color fade is all natural.
All 3 of my ladies are dialed in damn near perfect and have fully expressed themselves full force.
I couldn’t be happier with how my grow has turned out. Honestly, it looks like the shit that killed Elvis to me!!! ![]()
24 minutes till chop time. Y’all stay tunned for more pics
Hope they do well for you, I swear I see a lot of clear left on her and really no amber. Beautiful buds.
Yeah, they do not look ready ![]()
Is this an abnormal pheno? Pistils still white (mostly) non receded… looks like a few weeks to go.
Totally fair reaction if you’re judging strictly by pistils. On most strains, I’d agree with you.
Ayahuasca Purple is an outlier though. This isn’t an abnormal pheno, it’s a known trait of the cultivar. She routinely keeps throwing fresh white pistils well into maturity. Pistil recession is unreliable on this strain and can make her look weeks out when she’s actually at peak.
What does line up consistently on Ayahuasca Purple is trichome maturity. Under magnification she’s mostly cloudy with amber present, calyxes are swollen, vertical growth has stopped, and resin production has plateaued. That combination matters more than hair color here.
She also tends to “finish inward” rather than visually collapsing like some strains. Colors deepen, resin thickens, aromas shift, but the plant never looks textbook finished.
If you wait for pistils to recede on Ayahuasca Purple, you’ll usually overshoot her best window and start trading terpene vibrancy for degradation.
So no, not an odd pheno. Just a strain that doesn’t follow pistil rules. Trichomes tell the real story on this one.
Huh- interesting. I’ll take your word for it. Over thousands of plants I’ve never seen it.
Congrats on your harvest.
That’s what I was going by is trichs.
I can tell that you are proud and it is well deserved. I would be all crowing too if it were mine. That shit takes alot of time and dedication to get results like that, and then to be completely comfortable and at ease getting it there speaks volumes.
Beautiful work!

Some better macro shots. I wish I could’ve let her go another day or 2 but my schedule won’t allow for me to chop her on the perfect day. I’d rather her be slightly early then too late. I’m still very happy with the harvest and how she turned out. I’ve got 2 more Ayahuasca Purple right behind this 1 so, I’m not too overly worried. Apple Fritter and Jealousy still have at least 7-10 more days before they’re ready.
Over all I’d say I’ll have close to 4oz dried with the Ayahuasca Purple harvest. I’m expecting 8-10oz from the Apple Fritter and around 6-8oz from Jealousy.
Great job Harvest congrats growmie ![]()
