That happened to me. Its tough to make the call. Maybe try the cold water trick? What you thinkin?

Just back off on the lights and nutes, she will finish fine.

Thanks for the reply @Growdoc . @DaveySprocket
I haven’t heard of the cold water trick. I’d have to put the water in the fridge. Theres no such thing as cold water in Fl until Jan. I quit the nutes about a week ago and raised the light a bit yesterday. I even cut the light back an hour. 13/11. I was about to cut her last week and then she decides to shoot out more pistils. ?? I’m starting to see some amber on the buds and naturally the sugar leaves. And I’m seeing more new growth below the top of the buds. She has one more week and then I’ll probably give her the :axe: We’ll see.

That doesn’t do anything, it involves giving them ice water at the end. Like dark periods, nothing to it.

The dark period and ice water myths are not backed by science. But some growers will swear by it.
Doesn’t hurt anybody to try it and if it’s your cup of tea, well then good for you. (“you” in general, not “you” specifically)…

There is no myth to a dark period at harvest… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
You would want to harvest your plant’s at the 8 hours after dark period, (ie) lights out…
This will ensure that the majority of your nutrients will be in the root zone and not in the plant structure, kinda making it like you are flushing the plant’s, but your not , it’s a part of the plant’s process and thats the best time to chop plant’s… :+1:
As far as the ice bath , not too sure…
But then again, thats the beauty of this hobby…
You can try anything you want and i would encourage it…

I was referring to a 3 days darkness before chopping…

You’re right saying to harvest in the plant’s morning, imo.

I was actually mentioning that for the other person that was commenting… :man_facepalming:
Was a comment for @Growdoc i believe…
Had to look up…
But yes , the best time to harvest your plant’s if possible, is between 6 to 8 hours after lights out…
I feed to harvest, so this is my form of flushing…
Works like a charm… :+1:
I believe that a long dark period will kick things into overdrive as well…
72 hour thing you were talking about… @kaptain3d
I dont have that capability… :man_shrugging:
