On Android:
Go in your gallery a pick a picture
Click on the “pen” Icon at the bottom.
In the next screen, click the 3 dots at the top right.
Innthe menu that drops down, pick “resize”
You’ll get these options, or similar. Pick a smaller resolution and save.
