Hi
Need help in my 80x80x160cm tent what ledlights whid No fan for Max 300dollar whid most lumnen and ppm do i use?
You mean you want a light that doesn’t use a fan, or you’re not going to be using any fans in your tent?
A led lights whid no fan i meen.
i’d use a HLG 260w QB XW in that space, but it is out of your budget,
save up another $60 - $100 and try the 260w XW,
u will be glad u waited and purchased great lighting.!!
You can build a $250 DIY lamp using four QB132 3.5K V1 ($109 for four) or V2 ($135 for four), a 1750a driver, and wiring/connectors. @imSICKkid just built a nice one for a square space. I have built one for a 2x4 rectangular space.
It would be more than enough light for a 60cmx60cm at ~1000ppfd. You can dim it in vegetative cycle to save energy.
Here’s a material list for all but the QBs themselves - goto the horticulture lighting group website for them.
There’s some pics of my assembly a bit down this post.
Take a look at my build. I also relocated the driver outside the tent to keep the heat out and my boards are running amazingly cool. Everything you would need to build it from the materials to the wiring diagram.
Building yourself would be a really good option, as mentioned above. Qb 120 or qb 132, or one of the strips using similar tech.
please give info list what I need to put together for a space 80x80 an HLG 288V2 3000k for veg and blom with all accessories and what the cost will be for the whole?
If you can help.
Regards

A single 288 board is a little small for the space. For about the same price you can do a 4 pack of 120 or 132 boards on larger driver, would be more light and more appropriate for the space.
im running hlg qbs with 450w cannagrow cobs mixed in. Got the cannagrows for $70 each putting over 1200 par at 20 inches away i have 2cannagrows per 1hlg board honestly can not give you a finalized opinion on the cannagrow cause im just running em now. Saw on sale grabbed 4 of em but hlg boards i can say nothing. I mean nothing negative about. Hlg makes solid stuff n dont lie on specs. Pricey but worth it. 4x4 i try to put at least 500true watts led ive found light isnt as important as canopy management though.
Look on amazon at tge 4 board set with no driver. $150 i think little less than that. Meanwell driver under $60 you spread the 4 boards right n itll give you good coverage. Total $200 at that point. Throw a strong center piece(450wcanna)$79. Thays under $300and should put out in a 4x4
id put 4x qb288s around the purple canna cob
All have no fans. No noise but do need air blowing across i think. Cause tge canna gets hot. Not so much the hlgs.
Hlg def takes the win for me so far in output.
but at $2a watt its pricey but lasts though.
Iam happy if i can have minimun 800 18inch under the light in 80x80 tent.
But iam not elecric guy so most buy the kit whid not mutch work you se.
My idee was 2 288 in my 80x80 tent. I think its on 18inch 600-800ppm in bullsie.
You mean ppfd? I didn’t catch reference earlier but ppm is usually how we refer to strength of nutrient solution.
Two 288 boards should be very good!
Yes maan sorry i meen power of light down under 18inch. Yes.
No worries. I seen first time and thought maybe was an autocorrect or something. The second time I just wanted to be sure we are on the same page.
