Led light for indoor grow

Does anyone in here use the x600w pro from photontek

Ive seen a review on them there supposed to be pretty good

Looks like a decent light if their claims are true; however, it is built with Osram and Lumileds Philips diodes which aren’t the best out there. I would expect the best given the price. A high-end LED from HLG will ensure that you are getting the latest technology at about the same price.

I suggest an HLG 650R or a Scorpion Rspec for better coverage and higher efficiency.

How much space are you trying to light or how many plants do you intend to grow?

I already have the photontek x600w pro I was trying to see where they had there % at during each stage and height they had it at but mine is in a 5x5 tent and only doing 3 plants

This has helped me tune in my new LED lights.

The DLI thread @StonedCold13 posted should be helpful for you. Another way to look at it is PPFD, which is a measurement of the spectrum of light that plants see. PPFD may not mean anything to you, but the relative comparison for each stage can be helpful:

Seedling stage: 300 PPFD
Veg stage: 600 PPFD
Flowering stage: 800 PPFD

Therefore light during veg should be double that of seedling stage and light during flowering needs to be an additional 30% above light during veg stage.

Ok so I can use this chart that was supplied by the manufacturer. The bottom right picture shows that it is for veg and if I notice that is is stretch

ing I can lower it
