Still dialing in the humidity didn’t start smoking yet. I honestly feel like hell, spent 7 hours under trailers soaking wet changing out water pipes.

morning KW bat… like SC said I don’t have a official thread… I just pop in on growmies and post my grow if they ask about it… the closest to a real grow thread for me would be the White Truffle grow off… :cowboy_hat_face:

@Retiredoldguy. I like your habbits sir.

DWC, shoot a photo or two our way. Would love to see what ya got going. RDWC is my futrue goal. I’m not sure what size yet. Maybe a six bucket system. Just not sure yet. It might be a year out at this point.

Thanks for stopping by. Cheers grow friend.

@Retiredoldguy nice set up there. Thanks for sharing.. do so any time.

Are you running a water chiller?

no I don’t have a chiller or external reservoir…each tote is its own grow chamber with 5 gallons of nutes… I like this setup because it has less parts and I can see what each plant is consuming and can adjust for that plant for optimal growth…

To add on to what @Retiredoldguy has said. I would go a bit bigger then 5 gallon bucket for DWC and RDWC. I’m doing my RDWC as an experiment just to see really what happens. DWC in 5 gallon bucket your roots take over and you use less water as the roots get larger. So I would advise using at least a 10+ gallon tote.

Hey dan. I was thinking 7 gallons

My advice at least 10 gallon, your net cup will sit inside the tote and takes up 2+ inches. And in a 7.5 gallon tote I still only get 4 gallons of water.

I hear ya. Are you saying the containers are not big enough as in flower they will drink it up to fast? Therfore needing a bigger container size?
