Ambient is all mine get. They don’t have roots yet to process the light. Water only, no rooting gel either.

Honestly I do have a corner lamp that I have on a couple hrs in the evening since daylight is already so short
But the moral of the story is no added “grow” lights

I always start them in the nursery, a clear tote upside down, with a 100 watt shop light laid on top of it. Tote keeps humidity high and I’ll get leaf growth and roots .
Heat mat on bottom to keep media at 76-77 degrees.

Is that hole for an air stone to intake fresh air to them kinda like we do in mushrooms. Or for a sensor probe I’ve often used a top for a dome.
