One more can’t hurt!
They look so much moe better. By your next feed (especially with the magnesium shot) you’re going to be 100%
Yea they are looking much better
I Trimmed them up a little more yesterday. Left some damaged leaves that had 30% or so damage. Figured I’d remove later. Did a little LST to open them up more.
@Lostgirl thank you so much for holding my hand through this.
I don’t mind and you’re very welcome.
Hopefully after these next couple of feeds you’ll get a better feel on how to feed these girls properly by monitoring the PPM runoff. It takes a good amount of understanding and practice to get it right.
Not knowing much about Fox farm nutrients it’s been a learning experience for me too. Although I don’t use them I help a lot of people that do and I feel as I’m a little more comfortable assisting with the fox farm trio now.
Still not a fan of them but they definitely get the job done
Ok looks like everything is starting…
Yesterday Hannah started showing pistils.
I didn’t get outside until late to check on the poor stunted, rescued and mutant (Hazel, Lulu and Rachel)… it rained all day and it was late.
Looks like pistils… correct?
Yep you are in preflower wait til next week
Then what?
I researched sooo much i feel like i studied for the final exam 2 months ago and forgot everything because i needed to focus on unit #1
Then you are out of preflower
Good talk
Yay yay yay,
Ok today is feeding day for 4 plants.
I’ll seperate the post and concerns.
Hannah 48 days from sprout. (Auto)
Started showing pistils 2 days ago.
She takes forever to dry out so i have to admit i didn’t water to runoff. Plus the past 2 weeks have just been the FF Trio at 1/4 strength. She has looked good.
I watered today with just ph’d water to get runoff to see where she’s at. After a gallon she was at
PH 7.05
PPM 1310
I ran another gallon through
PH 7.62
PPM 638
She’s in Happy Frog (top) and Ocean Forest (bottom)
Didn’t expect the PPM to drop so much with another gallon. But better than 1310.
She has some yellowing on tips and browning on one top leaf.
Should i leave her for now or now that i got her ppm down feed 1/4 strength?
Ok on to Luna. Auto
41 days from sprout.
Her feeding conditions the same as Hannah above. Hadn’t watered to runoff due to slow drying out. Was receiving 1/4 strength FF Trio for past 2 weeks.
I haven’t given her water today to get runoff yet as I’m concerned of her leaf spots.
Is this rust fungus?
I noticed a week ago on a few leaves. I removed the leaves and treated with captain Jack’s copper fungicide. Should i do this again? Any other ideas?
First 2 Pic of last week
Bottom 2 pics today
I would have left her at the 1300 PPM but that’s neither here nor there now.
The first thing I would do is figure out exactly how many weeks of flower she is in go to your nutrient chart and make sure you’re giving her all the proper nutrients that you should be. And from what I’ve seen 1/4 strength is the perfect place to start.
Once you run her off if she’s low PPM on the next feed add more if she’s high PPM on the next feed add a little less.
Eventually they level off and you basically feed the shame and they run off the same within 150 ppms
Your goal is to run off 1,000 PPM */- 125 PPM
Slow drying should be irrelevant to run off feeding. Always feed to run off if it takes a week to dry feed her once a week.
By not running off you’re leaving all that salt in your plant hence the high ppms when you do run off. Salt = not good
I don’t see any fungus on your plants
I would do the same, figure what week of flower she’s in, check your chart to see the appropriate nutrients they’re calling for in that week and go 1/4 strength.
Once you get the runoff you’ll be able to tell if you should be feeding higher or lower
Hannah just started showing pistils 2 days ago.
Luna no pistils yet.
Luna runoff
Ph 6.52
Ppm 1140
Good to know you would have left hannah’s at 1300+. I was too afraid of nute burn and these ladies have been doing well.
Here’s Luna… one leaf has sides curling up… is this the taco?
Yea i think that is why the ppm dropped with the second gallon. It was all built up.
I’m confusing myself here . Sorry hubby is sick for me all different directions.
They’re both autos. The one in pre-flower I would start with week 5 feed and the other one that is not in pre-flower stay at week four but do both at quarter strength to see where your runoff ends up
