And I was typing a really long post on your journal, I couldn’t finish it because my work kept interrupting… 
But in a nutshell, all I wanted to say was: Don’t sweat the small stuff my friend.
You have everything you need to grow some really decent cannabis.
Sure, there will always be a new gadget or thing that will push the grow and help produce better and bigger plants… But you don’t have to have it all at first.
I started to grow with a blurple as a light, with the plants on my work bench…
Later on I got a 3’ x 4’ tent. I only had a Ts-1000 light from Mars-Hydro (about 100 watts). Not nearly enough if you listen to all the pros… But I was still getting some really decent buds. Nothing trophy worthy, but plenty good for my medicating needs.
So, don’t sweat it and grow with pleasure. It will be good for your needs. Then you’ll be better able to determine where you want to throw your growing “budget”… Better lights, better testers, better nutrients, and all the latest bells and whistles if that’s what you want. But ultimately, go slowly and only get what will really help you achieve what you want.
There will always be newer equipment, better nutes, better drying and curing methods… Go slowly and always invest in the best you can get (or need). Buying cheap is really buying twice and three times over in our hobby…
Enjoy the process and your planties will take care of you… Go crazy trying to get all the “right” numbers and you’ll quickly lose the spark and your money…

Good reply Kap, all of us don’t want or need to chase numbers or yield, some grow for the pleasure of it, I grow for both fun and chasing that perfect strain we will never find because we will always think we can do better. The great thing is everyone can do what pleases them and we all have fun and try to help each other grow the best we can.
