Journey of a Northern Lights Seed to Plant to Flower

You can use other peppers that you can source. The hotter the better.
If they aren’t as hot you will need more of them for the batch.
You can spray them every couple days if needed.

So based on the chart and it is by no means a complete list feel free to source any hot pepper you can the higher scoville units the better.

The loop you ordered looks like a nice one. Can you post a link to it from amazon as I may upgrade from what I use.
Once you receive it check the bugs and let us know what you have. If it’s spider mites they are particularly difficult to eradicate completely.

By the way feel free to remove the leaves that have been negatively affected by the bugs …especially if they have eggs layed in them

I took Schizandra out into the garden to a Sunny spot.

I squatted down and gave her some loving energy.

After three-four minutes, one of her leaves were curling in. After ten minutes the top and leaves were drooping down.

Strange!

Can it be the insecticide soap spray I gave her two days ago have something to do with it?

I’ve placed her in the patio in shade.

She needs to be hard and off slowly, a couple of minutes at a time, in direct sunlight till she gets used to it , put her back under shade, She should prop back up

I give a morning sun for a few minutes and then shade, Then back in before noon

I watered her through and through, thinking maybe drippings from the insecticide soap may have caused it.

Just went out to take a look, she’s perking back up!

My heart sank when I first saw her drooping down, thought I had lost her.

Thing is, every morning I’ve done the same ritual, except this morning, she drooped down.

It’s happened to me before,The change from different humidity’s sometimes causes them to droop instantly, your indoor humidity and outdoor humidity sometimes are different, and even under the shade they have dropped on me, no biggie, as long as she’s perked back up she’ll be fine

The loupe is due to arrive by noon today, 11 minutes, if he’s on time.

She looks great!

Seven years growing experience make a big difference.

What’s been happening to Schizandra gives me the incentive to use a small greenhouse next spring.

What soil did you use for Priscilla, Queen of the dessert, the seedling, and for the seven gallon pot?

She really looks very healthy, hale and vigorous. Rather envious . . . so many leaves, large too, new vigorous top growth at only 19 days.

There is no stretch like mine has.

I hadn’t expected a sturdy build for $7.59, I had expected flimsy. Many gave good reviews. Measures 3.25” x 1.75” x .75”. The light turns on, on the second slide click. Choice of LED and UV light. :+1:

Been reading up on available Super Auto strains found far afield.

Just found this critter on top soil of pot!!!
Identify?

Consulted a scientist friend, says a relative of a Pill bug, an herbivore who eats mainly decaying plant leaves and occasionally wood fiber.

Will also eat living plants in wet conditions, leaves, stems, shoots, roots and tubers.

I ordered a loop like that. I hope it helps me see better. Otherwise I’m gonna have to figure out how to tell my girls are finished by another indication.
