@DEEPDIVERDAVE gentlemen is there a preferred method of soil condition when I place the 3 gal bags into the larger ones ?
Staying with happy frog btw.
-soil wet ? Or dry ?
-I was planning on “slitting” the bottoms of the 3 gal a few times.
-how large ? How often ?

Sorry guys when I asked how large and how often in the previous post I was referring or the slits along the bottom side of the 3 gal bag.
Re read that and seemed confusing. My bad
get creative.
Roots will grow thru bag.
Any Slits make less resistance.
Bottom half of top bag gets side slits and some bottom slits.
Bottom half of top bag gets buried into bottom bag.
Soils? FFHF? FFOF/FFHF might be better.

@DEEPDIVERDAVE I’m at 16 days transplanted into the 3 gal mostly happy frog and a little ocean forest around the top. I have some pesticide on the way but thought I would get your opinions on how these are looking

@Scott62 I have been battling bugs since plants went outside, my arsenal is
Monterey BT
Pure Crop mixed up in 2 gal sprayer
Jacks Dead Bug have been using the dust but switched to liquid
All has been working ok, but my issue is rain every time I treat them it rains the next day.
Same for slug invasions I have had, a ring of Kosher salt at bottom of pot and ammonia and water mix for visable slugs.
All weapons of war have been given to me by others here and I am passing on what I have learned. Good luck on the warfare, it can be tough growing outdoors but rewards a great!

What ratio do you use when you mix those ?
1 oz of each to gal of water, unless it’s a bad infestation, then 1.5 oz per gal.

SHOULD I START FEEDING THESE GIRLS? if so recommendations ? Considering the highway dust from another Oklahoma grower.
Slurry or run-off, what are the IN/OUT-PH&PPMs?
Or just start feeding 6.4/800, until you have an answer, or see a problem.

Trying to recall the ratio of the venerate cg to use for ground saturation. Are you familiar with. This ?
No I am not, is why I went fab pots this yr for outdoor our ground is rock and clay, small rocks no issue, its the 1-3 ft wide that really suck balls. To dig holes deep enough last had to dig 14 holes to find 3 I could use.

Our island is called the “rock” and that’s what its made of.
I just bought 4cuft of perlite and it won’t go far with my outdoor soil.
