Good morning fellas here another week with my girl, I take her to the beauty salon so i need to know how you my friends see her new hair cut and other question I’m soak 3 seeds they don’t germinate is been 5 days in water and h2o2 funny they was on the bottom of the glass and every day in the morning I was see they was on top I push down and they stay there what’s that? Seeds soaking for five days may be duds at that point.

@Covertgrower yeah 3 days and sprout but I read old seeds take 2 to 7 days to sprout is crazy

It’s possible, after 24-48 hours I would remove them from the water, and place in moist paper towels someplace warm.

I had more in one bag but the two autos I soak maybe that 3 seed is not go to sprout them I go to try one soak in water and h2o2 for 24 hr and them move to paper tower

@Covertgrower do you ever hear about soak the seed with 1 or 2 ml of sugar, I see a video and is work for sprout seeds

I used peroxide to but funny the video I see was in one university they try to see how seeds reaction with ml of sugar and more sugar lest seeds sprout but little ml of sugar in the water help to sprout to

Sounds like something I might try WHY not lol who doesn’t like sugar lol but I give 7 days if needed but I do the paper towl in a ziploc bag method never had a dud I do ph the water to 6.5 (tap) longest for a seed was 6 days

@Breed89 sound good but remember you don’t need to pH the water on seeds and seedling beginning cuz they don’t eat fertilizer

Yeah, I do 24 hours in water, if they don’t sink when I push them down, I’ll give them another 24 hours, but even after that if they don’t sink, I move them to a paper towel on a plate. I wet the paper towel with the water where they were soaking. Paper towel not too wet. Then cover them with another paper towel wetted from the water. Place an identical side plate on the top. Then I put that plate on either a seed warmer (or in my case, I use a pet bed warmer because it doesn’t have an automatic shutoff. If it feels like the plate is getting too warm, either turn down the heater or put a folded up towel between he bed warmer and the plate. Then wait for it to sprout.
If yes has been in water that long, they are likely duds but you can try and transfer them to the paper towels and see what happens.

Yea I doubt a little suger would give a bad affect on the plants an your right they don’t need nutes at seeds/seedling stage but I just like to introduce the ph of 6.3-6.6 from the start an I feel like it helps intake what’s in the soil to for the little tap root

Good morning friends I was a hard week so is time to update my girl I was give her just pH water on Saturday and around two more days I go to water her again cuz to flush the salt of the feed and let you my friend that the seeds I had soak and move to the paper tower never germinate so I go to try one sour D auto and another unknown seed
