Yep , got the stand to. I’ll tell ya what if this experience didn’t just explain to me why weed isnt free then nothing will. . This is an expensive ass hobby!!! . At least to get started anyway.
Think between the 5x5, growers choice with uv and master controllers, meters, cannatrol machine , nutes, soil, co2, and all that I’m well over 5k . Then the time. Is ok though, nothing like having a tent full of beautiful queens to wake up to. And I’ll make it all back by the end of my second grow anyway.

Dannnggg pushing them growers choices huh? I also have 2 roi e720s but ive never had them past 90% because i try to maximize my space and yield and my plants are always right in the lights. Heres a before and after from the other day. Had to supercrop some branches they were almost touching the light

Im almost 8k onto my grow at this time and i saw that canantrol thing and was thinking maybe tax time imma get me one but convince me why i really need it because besides the want and coolness factor? Have you had a chance to put it to some use if so whatcha think is it worth $1700 or so after tax. This is the one i want looks real cool and i need some sort of tint to the glass because it would be going in a basement by the washer and dryer

So here’s the scoop so far. I literally just got it Monday. The tint wether black or cannaleaf is another 35. With the one day delivery it’s another 92 or something which is really the only choice. So it’s at 1700 somrthing. But use the code smotpoker50 and it comes down to 1677 is what I believe I paid. As you can see in one of the pics I clipped sone of my smaller buds to give it a test run.
The default setting is 4)4. 4 dry cycle 4 cure cycle. But I set mine to 4 and a half dry and slope into a 10 day cure. As suggested by YouTuber smotpoker said he prefers his that way.
Someone else asked me today how it was… So I picked a small piece off of one of the buds and it smelled way less of chlorophyll than the bud I hang dried and has been curing in a grove bag for more than a week. It smelled much more like pot should smell. Felt good, smoked ok , still better than the other but again is only been in cure cycle for some hours. So my opinion is that so far it’s doing what it’s supposed to do.
As for me in a studio apartment with my rh being only 35 I would had payed that much to get my conditions for drying right anyway. Then either grove or turkey bags and or burping jars. And their motto is " friends don’t let friends burp jars"
I’ll be more than happy to tell you how it is in 9 more days to. Also it holds it after the cure cycle in the hold stage keeping your product at that perfect moisture level for months, even up to a couple years. I think it’s a breakthrough that will helo raise the bar/standards of growing not only for commercial but us honegrowrrs as well.
Shit I should get some kind of discounts for the way I’m advertising this thing.
But no really, I will be mad and telling the world if I paid 1700 for something that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. Believe that! Shit I slam on vivosun and I didn’t even buy from them. If this thing doesn’t finish right you’ll and everyone else will know about it.

Btw, you got a nice set up. Didn’t see the add on uvs , not sure if you have them but I think you would like em. Think it has allot of helping with the fiost on my gals.

I dialed mine back to about 500 Ppfd. I think I have a week or 2 left so i did this to avoid to much foxtail . I also use the fox farms nutes and rather than flush I’m just giving them the worm tea, kleankelp, and Signal terpene booster till the finish.

Oh yeah those are nice. Ok I do think it’s that time for me to start cutting back on the light. They was hit hard from the get go. Think I’ll check more into work casings and teas next time Im at hydro place.

@Took1-4theteam I talked it over with my fiance and got the green light to get a cannatrol come tax time. Ive been reading what people think on here and they were iffy but actual customer reviews look and sound great and automation factor is even better and draws me in as i plan to grow for my lifetime and know its just intial investment thats the hangup. N thanks man! A lot of time and money went into this! I wish i didnt have vivosun tents tho i think they all have issues or the company has poor quality control. Big tent one corner busted first time i put it under negative pressure and there are threads showing at the zippers causing them to occasionally hang up on 1 door. Small tent i setup and found out it had a whole rip on the zipper stitching towards the bottom also you can see light thru all the zippers just doesnt shine in only out. Im too lazy at this point to pull everything out (before too as i could of returned it immediately but once you put everything in there and wedge lights in that dont really fit then its not worthwhile to tear it all back down) and replace with a better HPS tent as im limited to about 68 inches in my basement and no other tents would fit. Imma for sure tell them you sent me when i inquire about buying one!
I haven’t seen any bad reviews from anyone that actually has one. Told ya I took a piece yesterday after being in cure for sone hours. Did the same thing today after being in cure for one day. Complete night and day difference. The stuff I hung dry and has been curing more than a week in Grove is not even close in comparison . Night and day difference already in smell, texture, and smoothness to smoke. I’m happy as I think you will be!
I almost bought my kit from vivosun. Had a cart full and almost pressed the purchase now button. At least minute I decided to ask more questions. Think I wanted to know if their lights worked with “any” controllers. The rep beat around the bush about directly answering that knowing I was so cloae from purchasing, knowing that I wanted a light that worked with controller. It was appetant that he would of let me purchase this to only later realize as a beginner that it wouldn’t work how I wanted. That showed me allot right there. Immediately started looking elsewhere and ran into Erik at led grow light Depot. He was straight forward and is why I got the kit I got and I’m so glad I did. Then I get a email saying free gift for doing survey. It was made to look like free seeds only after to find out I have to buy seeds from nirvana to get free seeds. That even further showed me that vivosun was full of shit and that’s not even including all the bad reviews like yours here now on their products. Don’t like Nirvana for knowingly teaming up with that type of shady business either.
Since then I put out the garbage and help to push the good over the garbage. Like growers choice had a rep that talked with me for a halfhour teaching me about the products and growing. Chris from sohum soil did the same and gave me his personal contact number and email. Ac infinity and ilgm has good support. Midwest grow kits and mushrooms dot com for my mushroom supplies and spores. All great ! Jennifer at cannatrol dealt with my million questions and made sure to get my machine in less than half the time their website states processing time to be. There are also a couple other seed vendors I like but common courtesy and sake of forum I won’t list. But yeah tge growing community is great for the most part. Just like everything else it has its less worthy folk/companies. Is just my outlook in the short what 5 months of being a grower.

Well my guesstimate was approx 10 more days. So far the consensus has been kinda close to that . These was quick shots right at lights out. Going to take my time and grab a couple per plant tomorrow. Make sure it’s pointed at buds and not leaves. Also 2 different strains and 4 if the plants was getting 12-1500 ppfd while the other 3 tucked away in corners getting about 800. So the aim is finding a happy medium to pull the first 4 plants at a time with the majority of the nice buds. Run that in it’s cycle then do the other 3 . Unless it’s under 2.2 pounds wet I can get it all in there at once. Will just have to see as it gets closer .
