All things to consider. The average Epsom is 13% sulfur in weight and 10% in magnesium, the 77% remainder is h2o
Guess I’ll guinea pig it, take one for the team if you will. Of course I will still lean on yall for advice.
That would be a lot of sulfur with Finish and Epsom in there….Ill look closer when I can think! Kinda bouncing off the wall going down the hallway now….
I wouldn’t expect this to behave much differently than the 5-12-26 when using 321 recipe. Not sure which calcium nitrate you have but several of them have chelated iron already. I probably wouldn’t plan on a lot if success using 4/2 recipe without epsom until maybe late in flower if at all.
@OGIncognito when you used in place of 5-12-26 what was your mixture ratio?
If memory serves me, I started with 4 grams of the 7-15-30 and 1.8-2.0 of boost and alternated the Epsom every other feeding at .8-1.0 grams. I played with the amounts but never went over 5 grams of the finish, 2.2 of boost and 1.2 of Epsom
I’m running Jacks cal nit.
Hmm, they got very mysterious when they rebranded. And I’m nearly certain the part B “boost” is not the same as I have in a different bag.
So I’m not really certain if it’s in this bag or not. At the end of the day nobody really wants to add another bag, but iron chelates are available in small quantities at customhydronutrients if you need it.
My bag of it doesn’t say boost anywhere, just part B…… hmmmmm has something changed, I wonder.
Mine has boost on it at work right now but can take pic when i get home👍
My new bag has it on there too, old one didn’t. Same formula, fancy name……
Gota try to sell more
The old “old” bag didn’t have part b or boost listed on it. The states that require fertilizer registration have them listed under different registration numbers and chemical analysis isn’t the same. But neither currently list compounds included in each bag
I usually get ugly leaves a month into flower.
Jacks makes the “Finish” as well as other “blends” Seedling, Feed,
I started using the Finish on all my plants to see what difference is available.
Worked soils enough to be happy with FFHF.
Working with Aperas for measuring the feed.
Still looking for the best nutrients for a simple grower.
This plant likes the combo, FFHF and Jacks Finish
The ladies behind are 12week autos (needing more feed, I believe).
Trim routine coming soon, may help with the boredom.
I hadn’t thought to use the Finish as the replacement for the Part B.
I was using it for replacing both A and B.
My city supplied water is 7.2PH and under <50PPM and a teaspoon of Jacks Finish brings the mixed solution down to 6.5 (gallon)
Finish replaces part A , not B. You still need some cal nit, even in flower. Plants are looking good!
Conditional looking
The ILGM Afghan Autos were/are great growers.
Conversely, the Hindu Kush do not like life in my grow.
That beauty seedling is a 12/1 seed drop from my home grown Fall 2022 seeds
Jacks makes many different blends of nutes designed for RO, clone, FEed, and more applications.
As we know, “the grass is greener elsewhere”.
Your plants look better.
@Growdoc I appreciate your shares.
