Hey yall how are you guys today? @noddykitty1 @Growdoc @Truetopath @Borderryan22 @SausageMahoney
Was itching to get busy in the garden today. Its become so therapeutic for me. DIY 25 site aero cloner. Only 6 cuffs short, so will get some soon.
I have 3 mother plants that are legacy plants of @Ebb . Will probably flower 2 soon and keep the best ones. His Ethos Endgame “the punch line” RBX has been cloned 4x so far. The idea is to keep it alive for as long as possible. Also hoping to get keepers of anything I might like from this current run, and to trade clones to some friends…
Anyway thanks for tuning in guys you rock happy growing!

You could always reverse one of the clones and use it to pollinate the others. That would give you all feminized seeds which would store for years. Another way to keep that strain around.

Wow, I dont know why I haven’t thought of that… thank you dude because that answer has been right under my nose.
I would need a crash course on reversing a plant and harvesting for seed but most of my grows have been a crash course. I’m confident in my ability to learn
Only have a 2x4 and one 4x4 and a small propagation station for the seedlings. The 2x4 holds the mother plants. Any need to worry about pollinating the rest of the room? It would be nice to free up that 2x4 and get a perpetual grow going. So far I’m lucky to have 2-3 harvests a year…

I’m in the middle of a seed run right now, spraying STS and flipping them tomorrow, making 6 of my own crosses. Check out my journal and you can see how my seed run turns out, I’ll tag you over there.
Yes! You will need intake and exhaust filters on all tents, or plant to reverse one only when you want all others pollinated. Pollen finds its way in every conceivable place.

Wow thanks Doc. I appreciate your help. I’ll take a look in the morning with my morning cup of coffee and catch up on your journal.

Goodmorning grow bro! Went about 1000 replies deep on your journal. Some great stuff there. Think its pretty damn cool you raise and rehab animals, pet squirrel and all lol.
Just ran out of coffee so will read more after some work in the garden.
Hard to believe those plants in coco are a little over a month old? Wow. What’re the biggest pros and cons that stand out to you compared with your runs in Promix? Those results have me eyeing up my unused bale of coco…
And you only treat with the STS once a week, starting about 2 weeks before flip and into flower for how long abouts?

Until balls form, then you can stop with STS , with colloidal silver, you have to start a couple weeks before flipping and spray every day until pollen falls. STS, you can spray when you flip and have pollen in the second or third week of flower, seeds usually need 6 full weeks to form good healthy seeds.

Fun day in the garden today. Aerocloner is ready and ripping! 19 clones in there plus 8 taken the traditional way, dome+rockwool. If the aerocloner works I’ll have more than I know what to do with…
Moved the seedlings to my 4x4. Temp is a perfect 78*f and 60% RH. About 15-20k lux a plant for light.

Fed 2.0 EC 5.8 pH to one of the mother plants. Runoff pH was in line but EC was actually lower than the input at 1.4. What does that usually indicate in your guys’ experience?
Now also beginning to notice what appears to be a slight phosphorus deficiency on all the mothers. The other 2 have runoff number’s identical to their input. Maybe I am running the light too hard, I’ll have to check soon .
Only con to coco is watering all the time, all else is pro… Autopots will remove that con. Promix will always be in some of my grows, I just like it and I’ve had some really nice grows in it. It really has no cons either, other than slightly slower growth. I’m wondering how Promix with 50% perlite would do in autopots….

My Pancakes strain does that sometimes, they can be absolute nute hawgs . Usually only did it in spurts, then runoff would be slightly higher. My current ones in coco don’t vary much. Feed them 1.8 and runoff is still under 2.0.

Cuts in the aerocloner all perking up. I have high hopes for it to work out.
Transplanted all the seedlings to their final 3gal homes today. All had developed nice fuzzy white roots but Granny Candy #3 was the furthest behind, which explains her symptoms and shorter stature. Hoping she brings the

This was an order that was from January 8th that had never showed up… contacted HSC and got a replacement.
Turns out the mailman placed it behind a chair on my deck instead of in the mailbox and it’s been out there this whole time. Oh well, I cant complain about 2 packs for the price of one. Hopefully being out in the elements won’t affect their germ rate at all.

Crazy how 3 days of growth can look. Granny Candy on the left and Big Detroit Energy on the right.
They’re growing out of some funkiness and I’m getting them healthier with each feed.
I mistakenly didn’t pre-wet or flush the promix before transplant. So pH was low, assumedly before the lime in the mix could “activate”. Last feed they were all between 1.6-1.8 EC and at 5.6 pH. I’m still pretty happy with how they’re looking so far.

@Growdoc @Truetopath @SausageMahoney hey guys hope you’re enjoying your Saturday! Just a little update.
In 4 days these girls will be 1 month old from sprout. They’re looking pretty good. Environment is getting dialed in. 1.0-1.1 kPa, during lights on. About 77-80* f and 65% rH. How important is VPD during lights off, do you guys chase it? My temps drop to 68* f but rh stays around 65%, so like .6kPa during lights out.
The BDE’s (lol) are all growing their 6th node and the Granny’s are all a little behind at node 5. At what point do you guys feel comfortable topping? I want to top for increased canopy coverage but not sure when the best time to do it would be. I want to try and get at least 1lb from these 6 plants… So about 3 oz each?
Also 7 days in the aerocloner and no sign of roots yet. How fast is the turn around in these usually? My first time using it.
