I've lost 15 plants so far, what am I doing wrong?

Welcome aboard you came to a great place for help on growing. Looking good

Over watering is frequency related not the amount given at one time Growmie. Soil likes a drench to drought routine, feed the soil to liberal run off then allow a drought period. The drought period will provide the roots the needed oxygen :love_you_gesture:

I’m with @Dinky - Throw her in the 5 gallon fabric pot. You should get bigger yields with the 5 gallon pot. After transplant water plant then let dry out until next watering. If you maintain a watering schedule you wont drown ur plants again. Good luck man!

These folks have you covered. Go cloth. Most have found 5gallon to 7 is great for auto. Up to 20 gallon for photo but 10 is a nice median. I agree on look to be drowning. Cloth will help a lot with that. Can elevate on a riser if overwater and will dry fast. Since organic we want to stay moist, not wet, at all times for the life. Wekcome aboard and growers up here will help you line out. Ty for the tag @Dinky .
You will really enjoy the ease of organic once dialed in. Your ph range will increase. 5-8.5 or so range with healthy SOIL.

At First glance bigger pot or fabric pot like suggested don’t overwater that’s too small of a plant for a lot of water. Let it dry out completely when you do water water till you get like 15% runoff but definitely a 3 gallon to 5 gallon pot or bigger.

Following just now. Read through most info and posts above. Growmies all gave great advice. Now that you are in a cloth bag, when you water, water slowly at the perimeter of the bag, not near the stem. With the new available space, we want her to go looking for the water to encourage a rootball explosion underground. The result will be clearly visible above, love to watch a grow turn around! Will be tracking.

You got this!! :crossed_fingers:

If a plant starts to wilt after it has been watered, it’s usually caused by poor drainage and not enough air around the roots. Basically the roots drown and the plant dies.

Don’t remove any leaves if the plant has been over-watered because there will be fewer leaves to transpire. The more leaves the plant has the more water it will use and the faster the potting mix will dry out. More light can also help if the plant use more water if it has been over-watered.

Once the plant has had a couple of weeks to recover, you can train and remove a few leaves if you like but try not to remove too many because the leaves create the energy so the plant can grow and flower.

Be careful using material pots in the desert because they can dry out too fast in hot weather. I like plastic pots in hot climates because they don’t dry out as much. However, since you have put her in a material pot, leave her there and let her grow.

To see if the plant needs water, stick your finger in the top of the soil and push it into the soil a couple of inches. If it feels damp then it doesn’t need watering.

You can add perlite to potting mix to improve drainage. Have 20-30% perlite by volume. If using perlite, you will have to water more often because it doesn’t hold water and you lose potting mix when you add the perlite.

If you use perlite, wet it in the bag before handling it because it has a dust on it that can damage your lungs.
