It's only a test

Super Lemon Haze

Three autoflowers loose trimmed, hang’n on a 24x48 rack.

Should be set with Sativa for a while. Now just need the Indica to put on a bit more amber.

Morn’n all y’all fabulous growmies… :four_leaf_clover: :love_you_gesture:t4:   :four_leaf_clover: :love_you_gesture:t4:

Chopped the Do-si-dos and Runtz @ 15 weeks exactly. Probably 10% amber. Seems strange emptying the tent and converting to drying space.

Super Lemon Haze weighed out to 2.72 lbs at 7-10% moisture. I suspect It’ll drop to under 2.5 lbs over the next month or two.

The Runtz and Do-si-dos appear to be less, but they both have fatter heavier buds so we’ll have to wait a week or so to find out for sure.

I put a couple of lower, under developed buds from do’si and Rntz in the freeze dryer. Got a little too dry. Threw it in a grove bag and it is do’n ok after a couple weeks.

Another month aught’a see me sit’n on some premo cannabis. :four_leaf_clover: :love_you_gesture:t4: :love_you_gesture:t4: :love_you_gesture:t4:

BTW… The SLH is already Super! With the volcano at 365 the taste is fantastic!!! Nice “clean” buzz, very little munchies, minimal dry mouth. I’m really enjoying.

Throw a sacrifice on the volcano, go for our morning walk… love’n life. :four_leaf_clover: :four_leaf_clover: :love_you_gesture:t4: :love_you_gesture:t4:

Wow. Nice haul. 2.72lbs! How maby ladies was that?

Three, but I’m sure it’ll be 2.5 or less in another month or so. Who knows, maybe I’ll be surprised. :four_leaf_clover:

Morn’n all you wonderful gardeners! :four_leaf_clover: :love_you_gesture:t4: :four_leaf_clover: :love_you_gesture:t4:

Seven days with an average of 61f and 57% RH.

Runtz, 1.66 lb

Do Si Dos, 1.97 lb

Had a few oz loss with some bud rot / mold. (Couple of fat DSD colas )

Pretty disappointed in the Runtz, covered with sugar, but larfy as F&^^%… Looks like it will get turned to concentrate.

So I learned a lot from this test, not just indoor growing, but more detailed understanding of what the plants need overall. That’s what happens when you have to control… everything. Now I need to expand my knowledge in the processing.

Anybody have a link to a thread about sorting / sifting a trim bowl.
I also need to research qwet vs rosin press and the difference in the what it produces.

Concentrates Blog

Not sure about the press info, but Caligirls topic on concentrates has good qwet info.

I’ve been doing qwet for years, just no rosin press. Don’t know the difference, if any, between what comes out of each process.

Trying to decide if I want to build a recovery distillery for qwet or switch to rosin press. Cost of 190 proof has skyrocketed.

So far looks like sifting screens are in order to collect the treats from the trim bowl. Hope to get enough to make a moon rock or few. :four_leaf_clover: :love_you_gesture:t4:

Had the trim bowl a couple of years, this is the first time I harvested enough to use it.

I was using Everclear till @Low grasped a hold of the lead and gave the needed direction. I only use Everclear to rince my press bags. Love me some go in my banger. Puts a hole new meaning to it. Lol tagged you on the pressing post. One of my favorites

Pressing definitely gives you a more pure end product… there is still some waste though, so many people save their used pucks and make qwet with them.

Qwet returns more yield which is why I like it for edibles.

I ordered the equipment for the vacuum recovery. My main purpose is edibles so this should work for me… for the moment…

The Dab press caged 5.5 x 7 looks decent, I already have a 20 ton “ram-pak” press. Maybe next harvest…

Morn’n growmies… :four_leaf_clover: :love_you_gesture:t4: :four_leaf_clover: :love_you_gesture:t4:

Hope everyone is doing well!!

Just a few hours from adding another grandkid to the pack. Another one coming in a few weeks, and I’m not sure about the next one, but I’m think’n 3 months.

Thats right, I have three grandkids on the way at the same time… :open_mouth:

One is scheduled for a C-section this morn’n, we have their dogs. Their big ole 80/90 lb dog is super attached to momma, he knows everything is change’n and momma’s not here so he’s up set. I can assure you there is nothing remaining in his bowels. Everything he’s eaten for what appears to be the last month ended up on the floors from the back door to the front door.

I need to get out of the dog sit’n business.

BTW guys, apologies for my absence, the ole lady is like mother hen so we’ve been making rounds between the kids on the regular.

Get’n that fine female set up with her own grow space as well, started her seeds yesterday. Several strains of lettuce and some other stuff.

Have almost everything I need for my distiller, few fittings and she’ll be ready.

Have a neat little idea I’ll share when I collect more pieces.

Haven’t forgot about y’all, just been busy. I’m that friend you don’t see for months and I’ll walk up and start talking like I just stepped away a minute ago. :man_shrugging:t4:  :four_leaf_clover: :love_you_gesture:t4: :four_leaf_clover:
