Good morning @RightAway. That is such a long wait and waste of good space to hold males that long, unless you’re breeding. I’m gonna snatch up some of those tests during the sale and see if I can make my life easier.

I’m in total agreement with you JW…so after 30 days 50 percent of your work is a loss and the males by this time are taking up 75% of the available space…males are naturally bigger…all of the biggest best plants will be males…the little plants that are left over is what you get to grow…straight up heartbreaking for a bud pharmer…this is the first i have heard of a test for seeds …with all of the advances in science , I’m not surprised…feminised seeds are the cost effective way to go tho, imo…things in the cannabis world have changed so much over the years…its never been better than it is now…access to seedbanks with highest quality genetics…lighting and fertilizers designed to grow weed…etc. etc. etc…imagine back in the day we would sow the seeds in the spring and grow the males and females together until they sexed naturally…common back then to pull 10 foot males all through the crop …and if you missed one no big deal…all the weed had seeds back then…sensimilla was still years to come…but I digress…I am thinking abot a good sized greenhous for outdoors for the future…we have problems with cornworms here and I’m trying to come up with a solution for they ass…greenhouse and netting nightly …making plans…Happy Growing

@RightAway you nailed that. I started buying regs seeds to test, then got some really good deals, and well, the next thing you know, I get more in the mail.

Good evening Growmies 
Took a tour of the Grow Room today. Really wishing this Durban Poison was ready to chop. She’s gotten so BIG.
The Golden Girls are looking really pretty.
A quick peek at Bunger’s Beans. They’re not stretching for light any longer.
Took a walk over to Mom’s House. They’re under 12/12 at Mom’s House.
Puddin is looking very dapper.
And Rae is starting to fill out again after her last salon visit
Turning over to the new tent. Well, it’s got a name, Waterworld, but it all soil at the moment until the SoG is completed in Flower Power.
The Durban Clones are still chugging along.
And the Wedding Cake is trying like hell to finish up.

The Cherry Pie Auto is under a little stress at the moment.

@RightAway I jumped in on the Black Friday sale and got 10 tests for $100 from Farmer Freeman. I’m excited to see how these do. I’ve got 8 plants I need to test right now.

Now I get it…duh…I was thinking the test was for seeds…thats really way to cool…definitely worth $10…makes growing reg. seeds viable…really really cool …cleaning up the rooms …making preparations for a Future1 and Fat Bastard run…had to spray my reveggers last night …once a week to keep spider mites at bay…alternating Dead bug and purecrop 1…little bastards always come back…I’m going to clean and bomb it before I start the run…got a pile of stalks to burn that should heat the house up for a day anyway…lol…Happy Growing
