Back in my public servant days, id work the drag strip fri nites and the dirt track sat nights for extra cash. Been out 6 years now and never looking back. Im self employed now and couldnt be happier…

36 yrs DOT, always a handyman to survive, remarried in 2011, retired 2019 at 55 full pension, found a new hobby that I can talk about with great people, survived a double bypass 7/21 havent been this light since high-school. Always a handyman keeps me out of trouble

Never a truer statement. I was always taught to fix your own stuff, not only do you save money, you learn a trade and then you can teach someone else. Hired a new guy and just outta the blue he started talking about wanting to homestead and start vermicomposting and organics and grow pot. Hes my age (46) and we grew up along the same lines. He looks like ole Garcia. :rofl::rofl: lets just say i started throwing knowledge at him and blew his mind. He had no clue. :rofl::rofl: i said, never judge a book by its cover

So true are your words brother we grew up with something not much but we learned to repair whatever on hand, I help my neighborhood brother out and they will just look at me and ask how do you know how to do that, I might not but I will know shortly. I’m 59 have been elbow deep in whatever if im not sure we can figure it out probably have run across it onetime or another. The lastest achievement was that 110ft boat launch ramp I put together for my people. Alls good

Yes I just feel very fortunate was having angina issues had a 95 and a 65 percentage and I didnt stroke out before they fixed me.
Those cheeseburgers will kill ya.

I love my dog.

I’m in the kitchen rolling a joint. Look over and my dog’s at the back door just sitting there waiting for me to finish rolling so we can go outside.

I finally got my AC Infinity UIS splitters in last night. Now I can control similar items as one. My auto-tent has two osc fans, and three lights, along with the exhaust. One controller wasn’t enough for a single tent.

Now I have all three lights and both fans running under one controller as two devices, lights and fans. Sweet.

When my dog see me grab the tray to roll or a beer they do the same thing. The Wifey and I call it getting happy feet at the door
