This is my setup right now. I have a small dehumidifier in the tent which up until recently has done a good job. But came down today when the lights were off to see humidity at 90% in the tent. Idk if humidity usually rises when the lights are off but this is not ok. I have one clip fan on max speed. It has been very humid recently. Got the big humidifier in the bottom right set up just today so hopefully it’ll bring down the humidity of the entire room. If not I may have to try to squeeze it in the tent. Question: for bushy plants like this (6 autos in a 4x4) should I get another clip fan?
That fan should be sufficient, do you have an exhaust?
Yea it’s at the top of the tent. I only have passive air intake through the vents and circle openings.
An exhaust fan will solve your issue. Open bottom vents…exhaust out top circle vent. That little tent with plants sweating at night…humidity from pots, will spike every time you water for a couple days. Pulling out that air with inflow from bottom will regulate it to lung room humidity. If lung room is 60 the tent will get close to that at night low speed. High speed will match it. Lights on you will drop a ton. Just my thoughts. 4 inch quality fan will do it.
Not sure if the yes you said was for clip on or exhaust. If an exhaust ignore me.
Grin.
Cooler air hold less water, making relative humidity (RH) go up.
Read a great example of that saying for example, if your tent was 75 during the day with a 60%RH, then temps dropped to 70 at night and zero moisture was added or removed from the air, the RH would rise to ~70% from the temperature change alone.
Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but some risers will help the roots not get too cold from the floor.
