# Is my plant ready to harvest

Without looking at the trichomes, I agree with @Oldguy, 2 - 3 weeks.

I go for ~90% milky, ~10% amber on the trichomes.

I third the 2-5 weeks, you need to have a way to magnify them to look at the trichomes. The simplest way is with your phone there’s apps that make your camera work as a magnifier. I use one called “cosy magnifier and microscope” not the best but you can see them. These pics will explain what to look for… good luck

go a few more weeks, monitor the trichomes. harvest in sections if lower buds need more time
