@Northerlit ROTFLMAO no , it’s 100% better than what I have now it’s got to be over 100F in that garage. 85F is like AC.

I’m still ssllllooooowwwwlllyyyy piecing together my indoor set up, I would LOVE to ae able to grow in my garage, however, I live in Maine so I wouldn’t be able to use it in the winter :cold_face:

Just give some thought to the pluses of being in that space and try to maximize that. I hate heating air for example as it’s not directly adding photons to the plant. Fans are definitely cheaper than heaters or air conditioning.

Sounds like you got a plan everybody’s grow space is a little different depending on what area they live in and also what time of the year it is spring , summer or winter. You might frame off a small room 10x8 In the garage for the grow tent. Insulate the walls good. And control the temperature in the room you’re pulling the fresh air from. If you did that you would only need exhaust fan with pass through holes open at the bottom of the tent adjust variable speed on exhaust fan to maintain negative pressure inside tent exhaust hot stale air outside. and at the same time exhaust fan would be pulling fresh cool air through the holes at the bottom . The hole you have cut in the wall you could use it to exhaust hot Air outside .Just my thoughts good luck

I have plenty of light leaks with my tent door and bedroom door wide open. Zero issues. :crazy_face:

Speaking of winter I can remember the first winter I spent up in your area the first time it got cold my Chevy van wouldn’t even turn over local mechanic pop the hood put his hand on my shoulder and said son if you going to live up here you need to buy you a interstate battery . I had a Walmart battery didn’t make it a week after it got cold.

@Myfriendis410 yes I have a couple of fans going ,They have been running 24/7 ,so I don’t know how much they are helping .exhaust is on high .It’s just hot. Thinking about getting a swamp cooler for the hot month (August). I have no idea if those things work.

only works in low humidity but does so by increasing humidity. So; not the best choice for weed.
