Not using any additional additives. I was considering using silica on this grow. I went on line to order some and every site said they aren’t currently shipping silica products to my state and a couple others. I called my local hydroponics store and they said that for some reason they can’t get any right now. He didn’t know why, but he did confirm that there’s some type of ban on this type of product. Weird, right.

A natural source of silicon is horse tails. The plant is also called bottle brush and is the original brillo pad. Just find some from your nearest wetlands and boil a tea out of it, compost the solids when done.

I just got all caught up on your journal. As always looking great. Going to watch your pollination project with interest. After a few more grows that could be fun to try. I am still in the getting the hang of it phase big time. But it has been a blast so far.The last month or so has been crazy for me. I plan on lurking around as much as I can now. Will be watching with interest. Take care and I hope the fam is all doing well.

Once you shed the tent your grow is going to turn into Repins’ Jungle. Gonna be fun to watch. I can see you walking in the room and having to cut your way in with a machete to get to the plants in the back.
