I have used a vacuum chamber to sublimate the water from frozen bubble hash. I used a freezer for the pre freeze but should have used dry ice then put it in a vacuum (100-500 microns depending on who you talk to) to dry as fast as possible to minimize terpene loss. I dried the material before bubble wash and also tried freezing it in a domestic freezer first. Although my end product is blonde, pliable and potent it isn’t as soft as Piatella.
My understanding of the process to make Piatella is that it has to be flash frozen (called fresh frozen a lot) at harvest and kept cold or frozen during each step. Dry ice is useful for flash freezing and freezing the bubble hash in preparation for sublimation.

Thank you @WilIy , your insight is of awesome value to me. Im getting the same type of results that you are experiencing. The end product is absolutely wonderful but… its not exactly piatella. I may be as close as you can get when beginning with dried product. .I am sure its got to begin with freshly harvested product, which does make perfect sense. I ran some Jelly Donutz through the ice water yesterday… Good God Man… does it really need to be any better ?
I never tried to smoke it before its dried before now…
By the time I get this to stay lit I’m gonna be laying on the floor… aaahhahaha

@AfgVet Thank You for the response. Theres got to be a way to blast it with dry ice or something… never gonna be right , unless you do it right. Without a freeze dryer I won’t be able to get the consistency down to the art that it is. I will have to save up $

@LunaticYowie this plant you have looks like its gonna be a solid stand of buds my Brother. Thats the best we can hope for . I think its going to turn out fine for you. I’m using a new fertilizer. Jacks 3-2-1. So far it’s working good. I am seeing the stalks growing larger. This is what I look for on my outdoor grows . The clones indoors are also eating Jacks this round . One gallon buckets of promix/perlite mixture. They are 6days into flower cycle . I have to fertigate once a day. Seem to be doing well, stretching as they should be. I flipped them at 30" trying to avoid the overgrowing that seems to be my curse in life. Lol . Hope the poker is going well, I may like to get a loan . Happy Growing

Thank you sir. But i feel my Indian nutrients are better than GH. I’ve had zero nutes lock problem in the entire run.
I’ll be only running then from next run and autopots are on the way.

The reason you have found a nutrient solution that works better for you is because you stepped out on a limb and ran your own test grow with them. Thats freaking admirable Bro ! Taking the reins in your own hands ! Big time Kudos to you Bro ! Your success depends on you.
I had to switch up a bit when using GH or else I would have really chlorotic leaves in the buds. It went better when I used the Lucas Formula at transition and forward. I feel like GH is providing to much nitrogen if you follow their prescribed schedule. Thats my opinion. Not as big a problem in soiless mixture as it was in DWC.
I’m using the Jacks 3-2-1 now and all in soiless media (promix/perlite) . The promix is peat based and works well with the 30% added perlite.
These clones are 1 week in transition, in 1 gal pots I am watering 3/4 of a quart once daily …
Today the taller ones are 44" and the shorter 4x4(Gorilla Glue)is 33" stretching about 2" a day. This is my first test with Jacks 3-2-1. I am pleased with result thus far. Hope your day is great. Happy Growing

If u do autopots i would suggest if u do autos do all autos and if u do photos do all photos dont mix it with 1 or 2 autos and 1 or 2 photos they wont finish the same and autos eat different from photos or atkeast at different stages unless u go 12 12 with the photos from start but i still think autos will flower faster. Lol. My first run on my autos i didnt think did 3 photos and 1 auto and had to shut the auto off and top feed that plant the whole grow dumb move on my part as i had other photos i could have done but didnt even think that part out in my head. Lol. I know now tho

This was pretty nice. In very sure would be way flavours after proper drying and curing. I was smiling after just a few drags, no cough, pretty smooth in and has that sweet taste. But yeah after smoking Amnesia for so long it did make me lazy. 
This was the small bud from the lower end of the small branch. It wasn’t airy at all. Overall i think I’ll be very happy with this grow.

I’m so done with GH i feel like changing them mid way for this plant. Tbh. I feed them a lot at least i feel that but it’s ppm is always off for some reason. This plant actually takes a lotttt of time. And i actually do make SURE of fixing her before i sleep but again it’s the same. 
Ohh yeahh they are looking fabulous. Jacks are actually good everyone uses jacks here as well.

Yah bro I’ll make sure. I’ll even have to go with the same strain or the same time duration strains even in autos.
Some take over 100 days some are done in 70 days.

@LunaticYowie you can switch over to Lucas Formula any time you want. I think it might help. Start with week 6 which is 6ml of micro and 12ml. of Bloom. I actually kept it right there thru til finish. Just a thought for you. Happy Growing
