I'm a newbie! Please help me!

The coco husk can be used also, you could even mix the husk with the peat and it would help aerate and give better stability to the peat.
Here’s a picture to give ya an idea of what each is.

I was under the impression peat moss and coco was being mixed. I appreciate your input.

Thank you again for the clarification! In the 15+ years iv been going indoors iv never heard it called that, or different forms of it… learn something everyday.

Now that we got that out of the way in with the show.

Love the coco coir :green_heart: I have found that even the products that say rinsed on them need to be rinsed further…otherwise my res gets dirty brown looking and gritty…and then a nice cal mag drench prior to being used …but thats just what I do…the 5k. Blocks are kind of a pain in the backside but actually are of the best quality…Happy Growing…

:point_up_2: definitely some coco products need additional rinsing. I tried a few cheap brands a few years back that stated triple rinsed but not so :love_you_gesture:

Very correct :+1:
The cheap adds clearly lie, its not clean coco-coir usely.
The picture I posted above said triple washed, but it was very dirty. Ive used these big bricks alot, I fill pots and flush with plain tap till its clear and works great afterwards…

This is sorted now… found a video on YouTube by cocoforcannabis peeps…

I have new problems one of the product which was to be delivered from US got cancelled not sure about the rest…

Then I’ll have to restart my search in my country…

I’ll keep you guys posted…

This sux. I hate cancelled orders and you don’t know why. Always makes you wonder.

Good luck on finding a replacement. Depending on your country, you may want to look other places than a US retailer.

For now it’s just the duct pipe…
But it was the first thing that was supposed to be delivered…
I have ordered Mars hydro tent, light, carbon filter and thermostat controller fan…

Duct pipe would be easy but these products would be VERY difficult…

And i cannot do with the smell it’s illegal here…

And even general hydroponic grow series, ph up down, cal mag…
There are ditto copy of these products with same name but it’s quality wouldn’t be great that’s what I think…
Though it will be way way cheaper…

@Autos-only brother…

Just the tent left to come. Probably will reach in 4-5 days…

I went through more videos from cocoforcannabis how important is silicon supplement, diamond nector (GH) and rapid growth… do I need them too??

And i was planning to get more light should I go within country cheap stuff they are for indoor grow because I really wanna grow 2 strains… i smoke too much as well I’ll have to buy again from outside otherwise…

Same here, coco only for many years. PH water to 5.8-6.0 and water daily. I don’t water daily when they’re little, you can tell when coco is dry. It’s been a gamechager in my plants health. I use Canna coco bricks, rehydrate with ph’d water. I start my seeds using the moist paper towel between two plate. One upside down and one normal, like a clamshell. 2 days and they usually sprout. Then transfer to a solo cup with a few drainage holes in the bottom.

Supplements and things like that really aren’t needed with a quality nutrient line. You might see some benefits depending on the circumstances. But mostly these boosters are made to make money. But some parts of the country might need minerals because the water lacks it.

@LunaticYowie I grow in coir/perlite 70/30…I do use GH nutes …I do use 3part series + diamond nectar and liquid Kool Bloom…I have very experienced fellow growers that say any xtra additives are completely unnecessary…I have had excellent success without the additives…
Why did I start using them? No good answer…rapid start I use in my cloner…
