Oh yeah man they look really nice, I cant wait till mine are a little further among. Since the last time that we spoke I have gotten to get a couple of the same seeds going . I have a zkiddlez auto wedding cake auto and gelato auto going that are already looking great at their young age .

Those photos were taken on Aug 8th, and since then I have been training them pretty heavily, at least for their age but I just wanna make sure I got on top of it now while I know I have a little bit if time lol. But I’ll have to take some pics tomorrow and tag you in the post so you can see how they look now.

As far as those leafs , I’m not a total master on diagnosing all things just yet but im sure some of that could have just been from the heavier nutes which just did its damage . And maybe there could have been some type of deficiency or ph lockout issue at some point or now , but for the most part they still look alive lol so I would make sure I try to give them at least a little more attention to make sure they dont make a turn for the worse but they do look fine and that they will make it easily . But good job brotha I’ll make sure I think of you if i run into anything on my way to harvest day for these girls haha

Right on let me know how it goes, most of these 10 were in preflower by middle of week 3!!! the zkittlez was barely 3 weeks when it hedgehogged out. I dont know how to compare the “high performance” setup?? I have a REI LED that’s supposed to put out 720w? cost a grand and almost fills up a 5x5. Full spectrum but I’m no expert on Led lights by any means. And I have co2 running between 1200-1400ppm during lights on. Hefty addition but I can see the difference already. All the tips and experience is much appreciated, I’ll try and follow along but i work alot of hours so getting on here is a treat!

@BoomScootBudz Well you are on your way to having a "high performance " set up a few more things and your there if you get everything working together the right way. You will also need to do a lot of training to the plants as well. By doing a lot of defoliations and stuff like that , it helps the plants be able to take up more nutes in a way, since you are continuously cutting out their nute reserves they are able to take up a more consistent amount of nutes cause not only are they taking up what they need to live, they are putting the rest not used back into new foliage which makes it so you can dump in higher ppms . So that with having the lighting and environmental conditions locked in makes it so you can be a little more aggressive with your feeding regimen cause the plants will be able to keep up with the amount you are giving them cause you are always giving them exactly what they use from one watering to the next without them ever having to rely just on what they have stored … if that makes sence to you , I’m sure I could have explained it way better but I’m really tired and stoned right now hahaha

Had some mishaps in early flower assuming from not flushing veg nutes out before starting flower doses, plus was feeding too often maybe not enough plain water ?

Kept my ph as solid as possible around 6.2 but 6.0 - 6.6 as a more realistic range for plain water.

Flushed on 8/15, about 4 weeks into flower…due to burn and high ppms. Used 2-3 gallons per plant depending on 3 or 5 gallon pot.

Ppms were lowered among the 9 pots/10 plants from 4000-7000 in the beginning of flush to between 800-2000 by the end.

Sidenote: the 5 gallon pot that I planted 2 seeds in did the best IMO, both the Gelato and GG.

Today I learned that you can herm out an auto!
I noticed what I assumed was false seed pods a few days ago but now it’s too late half the plants got hit with seeds. Sad story and it stemmed from a zkittlez that I had no LST on, maybe too close to the oscillating fan that’s always on…

Anyway, on a better note, does that mean the seeds in the gelato will be a ILGM runtz strain since a zkittlez seeded out a gelato?

Also got a few on a wedding cake looks like. LA Poprocks? Haha just dreaming

Many thanks to everyone that tried to keep up!! I slacked and didnt track or update as much as I would’ve liked but this was a solid practice run for my first auto attempt.

Due to my mistakes of overwatering and overfeeding, I ended up with 10+oz of dried flower from 10 autos. I think I’m going to do all 5 or all 7 gallon pots next, instead of the 3 & 5 combo I tried. Also factoring in less plants and more training.

The Gelato yielded more for me than any of the other strains, over 4oz dry from 3 plants compared to:
1.8 from 3 zkittlez
2.4 from 2 wedding cake
1.7 from 2 gorilla glue

And as a way late correction, the Gorilla Glue autos WERE from ILGM so all 10 autos were from ILGM!! Very surprised that I even finished the run on a good note with all the issues I hit. Definitely didnt bulk up as much as they could have, but I got a nice supply of some dense nugs, the Zkittlez taste like grapes

Harvest/Drying/Curing
I did give them between 12-36 hours of darkness before the initial cut and I hung them all in a 2×2 drying tent(3-4 at a time)

Drying tent conditions:
59-64°F ---- 55-65%rH for 5-7 days

Had to redry the ones I pulled after 5 days as they were still too wet.

Cut most leaves off before darkness period so I would only have small sugar leaves to trim before starting cure in CVaults. Popped them open 2-3 times a day for the first 10 days or so, now only once a day and I’m happy🤙🏼

Edit: on top of the yield, I also seem to have gotten a nice supply of seeds from different strains.
Does anyone know how to classify seeds from a hermied autoflower? Like will they all be autoflower seeds? All female? Mixed?

If the seeds are from the hermied plant they are the same as the plant itself genetically. It will be an autoflower female.

So the zkittlez that hermied first will be genetically the same? That’s awesome. And the other plants’ seeds will be a toss up? Haha

I will keep everyone tagged for the next run which I will put more effort into!! (new phone in a few weeks) I have been germinating photoperiod fems since Thursday.
