So with a well-known and loved strain with many entries,
it would be impossible to rig the game. I agree 100%!
Put your thick skin on and consider this.
I am not saying this happened!
If you knew that only a few other people besides your buddy,
who grew some great buds, bought these seeds.
Then you could seriously tilt the odds in your buddy’s favor.
And If he happens to be the only entry?
That seems like the only possible way to rig your contest.
And again, I am not saying this is what happened! BUT
Sometimes it may be best to avoid any action that may be misperceived as a scam?

There has also been two contests in two months that had to have a tie breaking poll made to decide the winner.
Reviews of the strains did not matter for the first two months because it was the moderators choices.

Completely disagree. Lots of good growers have grown the same strains and some months will have a lot more entries than others. I have never voted for someone based off a perceived “friendship”, always for the picture I thought was best. Most people feel and vote the same way. There will always be outliers who try to cheat, but we are usually aware and catch anything. Everyone likes different pictures… can’t police why people vote the way they do.
