I think you are correct. I may hit them with some more nuts and give them a couple weeks I they all sprouted middle of June
I’m going to pull all that had any signs of hud rot. That I had even trimmed the bad off … that’ll be several unfortunately
What’s your thoughts on smoking from plants that have had just a couple buds with bud rot that were removed early ?
Last pic looks like a touch of rot to me may just be a browning leave, and with the way and types (strains) they are breeding types of plants with other (strains) I have a gut feeling that plants are weaker on fighting issues, and going for potenecy and size other than strength and hardiness. Just a suspicion I have, due the indoor movement that has been kicking high gear for how many yrs, Just my humble opinion.
Smoke em if clean after cure, and that’s a personal choice
That’s a touchy situation for me. I’m truly not a smoker whatsoever. I grow specifically for my family. I just can’t tolerate inhaling as I am a chronic smoker of cigarettes.
To answer your question honestly, if I had Bud rot in the rot was removed (I would take the entire bud off) and I 100% was sure there was no more and the buds were cleaned and washed before hanging to harvest I would then as @Bentstick mentioned, let them fully dry and cure and inspect them thoroughly again after cure I would consider smoking it if I smoked.
I would add this to my personal opinion. If the plant had rot in multiple spots throughout the plant I would discard the plant personally.
@Bentstick you guys are awesome thank you !! With the late start I’m gonna let these go awhile and pull the plants that have had any trimmed from them !! Thank you !!! I’m sure I’ll be back with more intense pics lol
What we are here for to help where we can, learn and grow together
Agreed, growing again will replace discards
and
hopefully personal health stays good.
I discard more than I smoke (hte smoking).
Afraid to give away and material I would choose not to smoke.
Absolutely, I am truly appreciative of the forum contributors, friends, and guidance.
You guys rock !! Very thankful !!
