I have 2 tents connected, using one exhaust fan and only passive intake. Just gotta adjust the fan speed to get my temps/rh where they’re needed, depending on the stage of growth.
I keep a space heater in my grow room for during lights out. I run a humidifier in the tent during veg only. The exhaust fan runs 24/7, no matter.

@KJ I think you’re on track by sectioning off small lung room in your basement . Place tent in room pull fresh air out of room which you are controlling temperature in. Exhaust fan set up with variable speed can adjust accordingly Pass through hole open at bottom of tent . Good luck with your project.

If possible use the room your hot water tank is in as your lung. Especially if it is gas heated!
