The video is the backup feature I’m going to be adding into Hortus…a few more changes to the Vpd, and the ppm(adding a selector…soil or hydro…soil has ppm and pH in and out, hydro has reservoir ppm, reservoir pH, reservoir temperature.) plus the ability to zoom and pan with the scrollbar like the other apps.

Once I get the backup feature completed…I am adding all the changes into the Hortus beta app and upload for all to see.

I may take out the Ai’s temporarily until I get the model’s retrained…just to avoid the license issues. Got the training suite completed…just needed a break from ai… it’s honestly a huge pain in the ass…but I have learned so much I am considering consulting. Once I get the Ai datasets perfect then models retrained… I’ll release the tested version of my ai training suite to the world.

Me thinks they are complete!

Added backup/restore feature.
Got rid of Anychart.
Cleaned up the GUI.

Once these are in Hortus and I add the backup and restore to the Notes app, I’ll send it to beta testers via Google Play update.

DLI Averaging Calculator and charts:

VPD Averaging Calculator and Heatmap chart:

Dry Charting with charts:

New ppm/pH water temp soil hydro app:

I’ll start soon to integrate them back into Hortus…just testing for bugs while also resting.

One step closer to the Beta release!

Got the “PPM/pH Charting” into Hortus!

I was even able to back up my test copies database and import it into the hortus database!

Moving along…

The Dry Charting is in Hortus!

I have a second test phone now a pixel 7 pro…that one had data on it and was successfully migrated to the database.

I have the app delete the old file with info…that users cannot reach…

Would any of you prefer this file to be backed up just in case? It would still be a system file but not deleted.

My initial thought was delete the old file that old file that’s not encrypted… it’s just a txt file.

But who’s putting personal information in anyway…let me know your thoughts!

I
Have
Decided!

Since I have recoded all of the apps and they all use a unique Room database…even the Vpd Calculators calculated data is saved there now for transfer to the heatmap.

With this data…I am now adding… similar to the DLI page…the ability to choose 1 of 4 "Area"s.

Then clicking a “VPD Linechart” button:

  1. Records the date/time stamp and the calculation.
  2. Adds that to the chosen area.
  3. Each area now has its own Vpd line chart with the new zoom/pan scrollbars.
  4. All data is editable in case of error or needed corrections by long clicking…

Pics coming soon… coded it but knee is killing me and chilling for a bit.

Then adding to the test Vpd app for testing before cramming it into Hortus.

Charts are free now…might as well use them!

Remember!

If anyone has a feature request, or something just isn’t right, or could work different…my ears are open!

Please share ideas!

Hi :waving_hand: @Growmoredank :heart_hands:
So I’ve kinda been reading through this but do you have a place (I looked at https://hortusgrowapp.com/) with a full list of all the apps abilities?
Is it possible to upload other app data (ie. AC Infinity app data) into it?
Will this be available for iPhones?
It would be cool to also be able to partner somehow with AC Infinity/Photone to integrate their testing info directly into your app.
Or have someone design Bluetooth/Wi-Fi accessories/testers specifically for the app down the road
Just thoughts coming from a brand new pair of eyes here. New to growing, never used this app - but it looks really cool and helpful with all the info to help diagnose issues and tell you about the strains - all in one place.

Good evening @Krista

Great ideas!

I have looked into using govee and AC infinity integration… unfortunately…at the time they didn’t have an API to connect to their devices… however… it’s been a while…well over a year, possibly two…I should check into that!

As far as iPhone…now that I am getting rid of Anychart it should be easier. I have been planning on recoding the entire app via Flutter to have one main app for Android, iPhone, Windows.

That’s the ultimate goal…kind of why I am trying to get all features in now.

Unfortunately, for a bit… I’ll be removing the Ai’s again…I need to get the Ai “engine” file I trained out ASAP…I had released there’s a possibility I’ve not paid for licensing for using one line of code during my ai training…so as soon as I am done with all these changes…next using my new AI trainer app…to retrain…without licensing issues 100% and get the Ai’s back in…then finally…I am going to flutter it.

If I can find sensor integration now…would be easier!

Thank you!

I truly appreciate the input.

I hope you have a fantastic evening!

Edit…also…I must update the website…the apps changed a lot.

I didn’t specifically say it - but I would love to test this if/when it is available for the iPhone. It would save growers a TON of time just having so much information in one place - who needs Google when ya got a Hortus :rofl:

Soon!

I will definitely need iPhone testers at some point.

@Krista

Fyi…I am working on a simple test app using my ac infinity 69pro controllers…not wifi/cloud…just local Bluetooth connection.

Pics of the test app trying to connect to the 69pro controller:

It’s a bit frustrating but getting there…AC infinity isn’t supporting the API GitHub and it’s based on Python; with little information. I’ve then converted that to work with java in android.

I can connect…it stays good but it disconnects after a few seconds so I cannot get readings yet.

Well damn, will it work with 75’s??? When done..

Unfortunately…no…only the 69pro but maybe if I get my hands on other devices…wink wink…I can test and hack my way into the devices…like I am currently doing.

See scrolling screenshot… you’ll have to zoom and pan.

There’s not much to start with…I am creating most of this now…
