Hmmmm. Fungus gnats and newly germed seeds

I think those will be OK. I wouldn’t soak the soil with them. Wouldn’t be any need to with nematodes…

To kill the larva they lay in soil I used mosquito bites, spread around top of soil kinda mix in and water like normal it release a 100% safe bacteria that eats the larve no harm, I put diatomaceous earth on top to help keep them always, both are things I had in shed from outside garden and stuff. Cheap and can use for others stuff as well hope that helps

Use mosquito bits to kill the larvae in the soil, safe and effective.

Believe it or not, the fungus gnats are actually attracted to yellow.

I got these yellow stickies from Ace Hardware. They come with little plastic sticks that hold them. The sticks fit inside one another so you can make them taller if you like. It did catch a few but I think the Neem oil and dry soil is what fixed the majority of the problem.

How bad are they. I have a suggestion for u to try and rid of alot of them and large I had to do at my neighbors house for him. Loosen the top layer of dirt as much as u can get loose without harming much roots. Get a shop vac and shop ac all the top layer of dirt out and replace it with new fresh soil. Before u add the new soil I’d get like sns209 or can jacks dead bug and hit it hard with that to try and kill off any left there if there is then add the new dirt to it I had to do this once and as of now 4 weeks later I only happen to see a gnat here or there and before fit looked like the soil was alive lol. He had left a window open and all the bugs flew into the tent where the light was. Good luck hope u get them handled bud.

They honestly wernt that bad. I’ve had decent watering practice down for about a month. I just freaked when I peek across the room and saw a couple. My precious gorrila dawg seeds! Lol.

Looks like my worries were unfounded. Any body else take a break from growing a few years and get the newbie gitters all over again? Like plant hovering etc? Lol. Anyhow, here’s some pics

So these r photos I take it. R u gonna clone them or is it something I can cop beans whenever??

Well, I got these seeds from the local dispensary. Theres a few places that stock the seeds themselves. I’ll likely clone for selection, and since these are non fem, I’d like to keep that tradition with them as well. So I’ll likely try my hand at seeds. Ill be doing an experiment with feminized seeds as well.

U gonna use sts or colloidal. Sts has better outcomes and faster I’m hearing.
