It just keeps getting hotter every year… if I were still living in Az, it would at least be a dry heat… but living next to the might Mississippi River and Missouri River, high humidity - sucks!

i gave my buddy a plant, told him jus use spring water for the first month, than i gave him some of my home made mix of water to use packed with nutes, and the thing started takin off

a grandaddy purp
in a 1 gallon pot with indicanja soil i use
a small 24 watt light hangin above to add a bit of light but mostly off sunlight alone
ill probably throw his in with mine to flower
i will stick it in my 4x4 tent with my plants when i harvest an put the other plants in there

ok, crazy idk if this is normal.
i flushed the plants on day 2 of week 9

i ran through about 30 gallons of RO water, ppms 0-13 tops
i ran through a gallon each than allowed it to sit 5 mins or so to soak up the nutes in the soil, than continued to run about 2 more gallons each through, lots of run off.
i waited another 5-10 mins and ran through another 2-3 gallons each again. and continued to run through an equal amount of water through each until the 30 gallons i had ready was fully depleted

i watered the plants again yesterday, about 4 gallons each, with probably 2.5+ gallons running back out the bottom.
again, i started with about 20 gallons, maybe 25 gals of ro water, ppms no higher than 10. i ran about a gallon through each, waited a few mins and than ran the rest of the water through them equally, each plant got about another 3 gals of water more. plenty of runoff.

it is now almost day 1 of week 10
they still look very green, havent seen any kind of deficiency yet or signs, nothing that wasnt already there. how long does it usually take to show any deficiency from doing this?

Tbh you have alot of white pistils still impo to be flushing already just cause a breeder says that its a 9 week flowering strain means absolutely squat lol some plants can finish sooner than that 9 weeks and some can take longer than the 9 weeks i personally have never flushed until majority of pistils are orange essentially you dont want to cut off nutes to soon and starve you plants in there last few weeks of life especially sense majority of the bud bulking typically hapens in the last few weeks

i had the exact same thought actually just today, was thinkin of pumping a bit more potassium in for at least one or two more waterings, see if i cant pump em up a bit denser

Id just continue with regular nutes at same rate imo

also got 60 mini hygrometers, a moisture meter, a new pair of shears with a cleaning kit, and a heavy duty snipper for the thicker stems. should all be here within an hour woop woop.

i think i got it mostly covered, any other suggestions?
i am more than willing to look into any smallest thing anyone can think of, i think i got it all tho.

Trim tray??? They work wonders and you get to collect all the kief that calls off while trimming the buds ABLAZE Trim Tray Bin Bud Trimming Pollen Sieve Sifter Trimmer Trays with 150 Micron Screen 1 Pack https://a.co/d/eYLxSTn

hygrometers are pretty close, none of em too far off from another, i will let them sit overnight and check em in the morning, probably trash any that are way off

i also wanna get a drying rack for any buds that dont read 10-11% on the meter
i thought about getting one of those trimmers that ppl use, but i kinda wanna try to keep a lot of the buds as big as i can.
ill trim all the sugar leaves off, each one by hand, make em look perty but i dont wanna turn it to shake.

i have a few bins for separating the trim and the completed buds. and ill bag all the buds that read good after testing and put the ones too high on to a rack for drying.

i have a couple small trays i can use for trimming, gloves.

not sure what a pollen sieve sifter is but ill look into it.
it looks like we would sift gold with it from what i found lol. im sure that stuff all helps collect tons of kief. definitely will add one to the list

so, left these to sit overnight to see if any would be off by the next day

they are all pretty spot on within 2° so im happy with that.
ive seen some reviews on them say that a few of these things will be like 20° higher or lower than the others or the actual humidity or temp will be way off. but most reviews said they work perfectly within a degree or 2.
im satisfied with em.
plus they are like a dollar a piece basically when u buy em bulk so, not worried if a couple are off lol

fed today with part A, B, Epsom.
by watching the trichomes i thought they were turning milky faster than they really were, still look kinda clear on the bud after a week.
so based on the speed at which trichomes are milking up and the foxtails that still exist. id say probably wont be chopping till week 11

edit. i may feed it the finish and epsom next 2 waterings for this week, than towards end of the week, hopefully if i see some more milkyness come i can start the end flush over lol

question, what if it gets real milky before the foxtails concede.
has anyone had to harvest with foxtails or does it always usually fill in first or at the same time

Fox tailing does not fill in or recede the fox tails may plump up as the whole buds swell but thats about it its a stress response
