Thanks @bob31 and @Myfriendis410 new grower panic I think is all it is. I have noticed them getting droopy when I’ve given them a lot of water before. But the yellowing of the leaves had me most concerned. I do know they yellow up towards the end, but I didn’t think I was there yet. Thanks all.
@Covertgrower the roots like air so if they are soaked they can’t uptake oxygen and drown. That’s why the droopy and yellow. It’s common to overwater so don’t feel like you’re doing something that many growers haven’t done! You are asking questions and questioning the answers which is what teachers look for .
Thanks @Myfriendis410 I’ve worked really hard not to over water. Obviously I did this time. But they were starting to appear yellowish before the overwatering occurred. The GSC strain is a very thirsty strain comparing to the others. It always dries out before the others. The white widow next to it is having the same symptoms, but I didn’t think an extra picture was needed. They’re in the window of harvesting in 3-4 more weeks I think. Let me know what you think.
Just ordered this for the flowering room… Hopefully I’m not too late @bob31 @Myfriendis410 @Tr33

That looks great!
1st. I agree. RH at 70-80$ is a major issue!
Have you checked the underside of leaves for bugs?
Yes, very carefully but I’ll check again @latewood thank you for stopping by.
@latewood I checked for bugs, no sign of them on anything. I watered with the sledgehammer solution today. The girls were almost dry. Let’s hope they improve from here.
Don’t feel bad @Covertgrower I came hone from work to a droopy girl. I gave her a drink and will check on her in the morning and hope she’s perKY my medium is drying our daily but cooler temp hit today so I hope it starts buying me a day inbetween but I waited 2.5 days and she wasn’t having it
@Sirsmokes Some are still recovering… I just keep finding more. Maybe it’s overwatering, nitrogen deprived, and potassium overload. Still no bugs.
I did a sledgehammer watering, hopefully this solves some issues. The og Kush, white widow, GSC, and medical CBD one all have the same symptoms. Only the fan leaves, the bud sites/sugar leaves seem green and healthy. Thinking of taking pictures. But they all look the same.
Hate to revive a thread, but this is still an ongoing issue. This is a white widow. I don’t believe this is from over watering, I watered with half as much water as normal, and the next day most of the girls are wilty. So, I stuck my finger all the way into the dirt, to check, and it was dry. Watered until runoff. Ph’d Water was 6.5 in 6.6 out. Also calibrated the ph meter. Double checked, rechecked and checked again for pests. Nothing. This is my white widow that’s doing it with the GSC. Can the humidity alone do this? The dehumidifier is coming Wednesdayish. Let me know your thoughts and suggestions. Appreciation in advance because I’m really lost here. The white stuff is diatomaceous earth.

Hi @Covertgrower,
Yes, high humidity can cause this problem, but DE under the leaves can clog stomata too and cause this too, imo.
The combination of high humidity and DE clogging the stomata due to too high humidity is my call…
Gently remove all DE with a air blower at “cool” or with with air compressor or something that blow cool air. And wait until your deshumidifier arrive before re-apply DE if needed
Hoping that’s helping you Covertgrower,
~Al
@niala, should I rinse the DE off with water after lights out? Why is it affecting only some, if every plant got sprayed equally? Underside and tops. Even sprayed the sugar leaves. Humidity, I dont know. It’s the only thing I can’t remove from the problem yet.
Do not put water or rince with water… DE + water = ciment like mixture and gone a aggravate things. …
Like I mention, air blowing the DE is the solution… It will help with the humidity on the leaves too… @Covertgrower
Ô ! And just a little precision… You cannot make the affirmation that you equally sprayed your plant…
On the microscoping way’s of view, can you be sure that you know where are the millions of tiny stomata are situate ! ?
Of course not…
So each plant will not react the same for this reason and different strains and different phenotype in a same strain will react differently… @Covertgrower
Hoping that’s clarify things a little and help you,
~Al
Yes it did @Niala I appreciate your wealth of knowledge. Those stomatas… finicky little things.
Thanks for the kind word @Covertgrower, it’s really appreciated
Stomata are the way plants are “breathing” , making gas exchange, and it’s imperative for the photosynthesis processus to accur…
I know what they are. Just a bit surprised that a powder was able to clog them. Must be super fine stuff. @Niala
@niala so in the future if I have a pest problem should I not spray the tops of the leaves or just the bottom??
