So red solo on bottom and cover top with a clear solo cup? ---

Here is the clear cup with holes in the bottom ready to be dropped into the red cups HM lighting for 18/6? Lights are about 30 inches from the two 600w HM bulbs. Should I run my total system? That soil looks pretty fluffy. It will compact as it settles so may want to fill them all the way. ---

Hi @KeystoneCops , I appreciate this response. I’m using a PUR water filter for the faucet. I’m trying to make sure it’s appropriate for water my plants (getting ready to start soon) I’m using an Apera PC60 5 in 1. This is the reading from the filtered water. Any suggestions? Is this ok to use for my plants I’ll be growing in soil? Someone suggested that I get a 4 level reverse osmosis because the ppm is 0. But what about the other numbers? Let the water set out overnight and check the ph again. If it’s 7 or below should be great water. ---
