Im planning on growing gsc extreme about 5 plants at the same time in this tent.

That should be enough room in the tent for 5 just fine. You’ll want more lighting than that though @Ogm1 have you purchased a light yet?
What soil?

No i haven’t , any recommendations?

Quantum board, @dbrn32 will help you i am sure :+1:
regarding soil i use canna terra pro with no problems great grow medium from seedling to harvest.

Is this it ?

@Ogm1 I don’t know what region you’re in, but most of us growers prefer Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil. It’s a great starter soil, and a great experienced grower soil.
Nitrogen rich for vegging, with enough PK to get her started in flowering.
If you don’t have access to FFOF, be sure to select a soil that does NOT have extended release nutrients/fertilizers. You’ll be golden. The extended release fertilizers create problems when flowering, and flushing the soil if needed.
The terra soil you linked above is also an excellent choice.

I live in las vegas NV usa

Do i use that one for seedlings all the way to harvest ?

Just the canna terra pro, not the canna terra pro plus, you can use it from seedling to harvest no problems, its really the only decent one in Australia where i am.
If you have any more questions do not hesitate to ask, you may think some are obvious or stupid questions, but no questions are stupid or obvious, the help i have had on this forum has saved me a lot of heart ache so never be afraid to ask a question, tell us what you have actually got atm with regard to equipment?
Make sure you get GOOD ph pen not an el cheapo and a PPM pen, download the grow bible if you have not already done so.

That one is great also. Either of those are great choices. You’d be satisfied with either. @Ogm1

Hey @Ogm1, I’m in Vegas, too. Fox Farms is available most places in town, as is Pro Mix. I’ve used both Ocean Forest and Happy Frog seed to harvest. I’m happier with Happy Frog, just because it’s not so hot as Ocean Forest, but then you need to feed sooner because of it.

Four plants might be happier in that size tent, 2x2 for each that way. Otherwise, we/they  have you covered here…I’m available for tutoring for a small fee :stuck_out_tongue:

First I see you just joined us so with that " WELCOME TO ILGM And our awesome community of the best fokes around.

( I can’t see what size that tent is that you post ok lol )

Ok with that being said, you may want to re-think your grow plans for a min.
First each plant will need at least 2 sq. feet to grow in unless your doing a sog
so 5 plants will need 10 sq. ft to grow in. Here is a pic of what i’m talking about

Ya my pots are large but the bigger the pot the bigger the plant + more yield. But any way this is just an exsample of what I;m saying … ok

One thing

I would choose slimline timers, not the bulky square ones👍 when you plug them into a power board the bulky timers cover 2-3 other points. And you will definitely want a good power board…click pic to enlarge
