Got my first tent for auto, it is a kit
Any advice or recommendations to help a grandma out are welcomed.

An inline fan for top venting out, and most people use passive intake, simply open a lower vent.

If it’s a kit it probably came with a filter. I haven’t ever used a filter on mine because I have the tent next to a window. I took a board and put a dryer vent in it and installed it in my window at the bottom. I vent my tent directly out a second story window. Fan works better without the filter and no smell. I use a couple of fans installed low on the tent pulling room air into the tent. Seems to work. There are some real experts here. Spend some time researching the posts and you’ll find some great tips.

Tent location matters…need to get water to it. Mine is on the second floor and I have not automated anything yet…carrying buckets of water up steps is a pain in the back…o yeah and I water to run off so I need to carry that back down.
Make sure you give yourself room around the tent. You will be constantly accessing…usually from multiple sides.
