HPS is great for colder grow sites, hell, it’s fine for even warmer grow sites as long as you go air-cooled hood, 400 CFM exhaust fan and run that exhaust to the outside/attic or another room. I ran HPS lights for over 20 years and I live in the hot Texas desert, I do run the hell out of the AC though.

I install the 2nd net when the top colas get about a foot taller than the first net, just ease the net over them, just using it to support the colas so they don’t lean over too much.

Only run it during flowering, no point to run the UVA in veg.

Thanks very much @Hellraiser ! I know everyone and their brother pounds you

for info. I know I ask a lot. I see one of your latest pics you have plenty of vegetation under your first net. I cleaned up most of that last two days. My net is about at the bottom of veg left. Not really any light getting down there but, you also have light under there. I have not taken any fans from the last 10-11 inches. I have average 10 inches over net as of this morning day 9 of 12 hr days. I’ll put 2nd net in a day or two. Think this is all ok? Here’s pic, wondering if too much stretch? I know you are extremely busy so you can like post if you think its going ok here!! Have a great day!

Yeah all those fan leaves are going to block a good bit of light, any large leaves with long stems can be removed to get more light to the bud sites, I removed all those leaves starting in week 1 of flowering and repeated weekly. Most of my leaves left now are coming from bud sites and I’m not going to dig them out. It’s a cycle, remove the large fan leaves, then smaller leaves will grow large, remove those, more small leaves will grow large, remove those as well, once you’re down to just leaves coming from bud sites - which will get large as well, then job done and just watch the buds grow.

So you’re not ph’ing the Advanced Nutes at all right? What kind of water are you using? Are you feeding every watering in veg and flowering? Going full dose by the nutrient calculator? What kind of soil?

For this grow I went first 3 weeks no nutrients just Roots organics soil and water. Cannot lie when I watered I added like 2ml’ apple cider vinegar to slightly ph down water but never checked Ph. Then I am feeding nutrients every feeding 10 mls of either Sensi grow or bloom depending on where I am at obviously. And 8 mls of whatever additive I am using at that stage. So far so good.

Slight nute burn on tips but I have been juicing the shit out of them.

Did you really just get that orange marker for say PH Ing? If so that is lame. Not a swear

Yeah I always burn my tips from pushing the nutes too hard. I always say next grow no burnt tips, but then I keep pushing the nutes. not keeping the leaves anyway LOL.

The orange marker was for a edit.

Things I’ve learned: If your humidity suddenly spikes like 20% and nothing has really changed. You MIGHT be overwatering.

Leaf miners prolly

I don’t think so because the lease on my other five plants are perfectly fine and the only thing that has changed inside of my tent in 2 days has been me transplant in these plants
