I like the idea of comparing the 2 nute lines. Curious to see if saving money on Jacks is worth it. I am an oddball using Masterblend that is very similar to Jacks and so far I see differences in bud development but not in yield. Blueberry auto buds were smaller but firmer than foxfarms trio for my grows. I canā€™t wait to see how yours turn out.

Is this a standard for all plants and strains, sativa or indica? As far as markers for good genetics?

Yes, the stickier the better generally. I can pretty much pick out the best pheno of a seed grow by just feeling the buds, the most sticky one is usually the best/most potent of the group. I get very disappointed if I feel a plant and itā€™s not very sticky (after week 6 or so as some strains pack on the trichs later in flowering). Which made me quite happy on last defol of the Banana Kush as my hands and arms were just covered with sticky resin.

Just got through your Gorilla Glue and other stuff journal, canā€™t wait to see the progress with this one! I was also wondering after getting through the journal which nutrient line would be better, Jacks sounds great for the price and ease of use, AN seems nice but pricey and a lot of extra stuff going on :slight_smile: I have the general hydroponics line of nutes currently since Iā€™m new and they seemed straightforward

I have a Jackā€™s fed purple kush I flipped a week ago. She is receiving Jackā€™s Blossom Booster for first couple weeks. Also supplementing with Advanced Nutrients. Maybe the best of both worlds. No complaints so far

Oh Boy! A legit Jackā€™s vs. ANā€¦ made the switch to Jackā€™s and Coco, this round trying to fill the new 8x4ā€¦ Vegged in half of it and about to spread them outā€¦ easily fill the whole thing with the 10 I have. Like to see the end results of this test.
