This is a Glass Slipper plant. It was doing well, and had nice buds with brown hairs starting to turn in, but I thought they could go a little longer. I went away for a few days, and the lights went out and did not come back on. Now, it looks like this plant has become a hermie. Is it a hermie? Will the weed be any good now?
Thanks,
Grace
Not that I can see. Don’t see any obvious nanners. Could you show a zoom pic of what you’re specifically worried about or think could be signs of hermie?
How many days in dark and how long since lights came back on? It looks like it’s trying to reveg on you.
Leaves shiny and clawed, I just assumed too much N in early flower
Very possible, that’s why I asked about the lights timing, definitely have the claw though. My CBD girls did a crazy thing when I left the lights on three days, but their buds got huge, just airy and not tight.![]()
Well we know that’s not gonna hurt anything from the bro science of having a dark period before chop.
Yeah, eventually they do need some sleep ![]()
Dark not going to hurt, I just wondered about the light schedule, if the timer got changed or anything that might cause a reveg. Likely EC all out of whack like you said. ![]()

Here is a closeup.
The plant was doing well, and I almost harvested it, but I thought I would wait until I got back from a week-long trip (to Amsterdam fr). I had the lights on a timer, but I got a notice from the electric company right after I left that the power was out and would be restored soon. I never got to turn the lights back on until I returned a week later, but the plant and two others are in a sunny room. However, the weather may have been cloudy and overcast. Who knows?
I’m not very experienced, so I researched, and it looked like a hermie because it is growing again. I think reveg sounds likely, too. I’ll read up on that. Should I let it keep growing or harvest now? Will the weed be any good? Will it be any better now or later?
Thanks for your help. I posted a closeup on the thread.
Thanks for your help. I posted about the lights on the thread.
I don’t see nanners on new pic
So they still got an indirect light cycle. Lower levels of light are good for ripening up. Lower levels prevent stress that can trigger hermies.
By growing again, do you mean putting out white pistils again? Fattening up pushing another round of pistils.
That takes several weeks to show. I’m not seeing or hearing anything that would indicate this is even likely.
