Has anyone just done a grow with a 2 part or 3 part nutrients?

Hi all thinking about trying another grow(auto) ,its been a long time .
Iv been looking at advanced nutrients ph perfect 3 part and the 2 part sensi grow .
Like do you really need all the other bottles to have a successful grow .
Im after opinions of somone who has done both if possible
Looking foward to hear

Jacks 321 is easy. Part A, Part B, and unscented Epsom salt. I’ve been using it for a couple of years. Easy to use, inexpensive, not salty, and very effective.

I haven’t used the AN but use the Gen hydro flora Nova 2 part with a lil cal mag.
Liquid or dry Kool bloom after 3 rd week of flower and that’s pretty much it.
Bit of silica when I remember.

Hey , Thanks for the tag good to hear from you. Sorry i’ve never used that line of nutes.

Same here with that line. How ever. I think it is pretty close to my GH nutes and have to use all 3 bottles of it. There should be a chart to let you know how much to use and at what point in the grow  I only feed at about 300 - 600ppms with my GH nutes for autos.

Cheers ,are you still running the hps ? Im thinking to give led ago mainly cause of the electric cost has gone through the roof .
But also its mainly cold here and it be in shed outside so would have to run a heater so not sure if i be better of yet

I still run them. lol.
If ur in a shed then it may be an advantage to stick with the hid.
Most smaller heaters , at least here , are 1000 - 1500 w. Depending how well insulated the shed is may be the difference for you to running led. Just a thought.

Hi, I used to run 3 part GH nutes and they worked just fine for my grows. I also used HPS lights in the winter here in the midwest US. My basement/cellar does get pretty cold without insulation and with the walls exposed to the outside. I will be switching it back here in late fall from my LED back to HPS because I did find running a space heater when the lights are on was pricey, but with the insulation panels around the plants, even when the HPS are off, the grow space stayed above 55F when it was below 0F outside. My $0.02.

If you choose to go with Advanced Nutrients and you don’t want to use most of the additives, I’d suggest you go with the Connoisseur line of base nutrients. It’s the most complete of their formulas, and it’s got a decent amount of calcium and a bit of magnesium in it, so the only way you’d need cal/mag is if you’re growing in coco or using pure water.
Other than that, B-52 is a very good add on, but not 100% necessary.

Greenleaf Nutrients is available in Europe and they have a copy of Jacks 2 part system.
Exactly the same stuff as far as I can see.
I have started omitting the epsom on the advice of Myfriendis410 and see no difference.

I’m currently using a “3 part” which came with 6 different bottles! I am using the Green Planet 3 part formulated for Autopots. It’s a Grow, Bloom, and “Micro” which has all the micronutrients in it.

The other three parts are supplements, one is an overall booster called Vitathive, and two different bloom boosters - Rezin and PK.

Since it came all together, I’m trying everything they sent. First grow with them, and yes I’m running Autopots which is why I thought I’d give it a try.

They are just starting to flower so I can’t judge that part yet, but they are the largest plants I’ve grown to date.

I like liquid nutes b/c I find it easier to measure using syringes rather than weight.

Be aware GH has different Flora lines if choosing GH and know the labels

Good morning. I havent seen or heard but I read that about another product.
I had floranova when I mixed it by directions it got high 6’s pH so I liked that. My tap water higher pH at arounf 180ppm so whats tbat hard water anyway it worked

I have some iron and calcium in mine. Well water but comes out at 100 ppm.
I always have to add ph down to get to 6.2 for my pro mix.
Thinking the bloom , gro , and micro are more for a hydro set up with a rez.
Flora Nova is more for soil or an inert medium where ur not worried about lines plugging up.

It is possible to grow a plant with just water. It is possible to use just the main parts of a nute line yes is it better to add some additives yes. Is it necessary no. Additives do alot for the plants but are not needed at all depends on ur budget and what makes u happy at the end. If u want a booster for flower that goes pretty far and not real.bad expensive u can run the mains whole grow and flower add this additive which does a lot for trico es and all. Adds a ton to the plant it seems. Flower fuel and Amazon has it fairly cheap and it works great. It’s a powder so last super long if kept in right conditions

Bloom Booster and Yield Enhancer for Plants - Big, Heavy, Healthy Harvests, for Use in Soil and Hydroponics - Concentrated Phosphorus and Potassium - Flower Fuel 1-34-32, 250g
