@WesternMass420
Dude where’s my handful of seeds? I wanted heritage sativa strains if ya got em lol
My first day as a member yesterday I jabbered so much i got cut off until today hahah.
I got a shot of one of the taller colas this morning from Miss X. This was using an led flashlight for illumination. I know 5 of my strains, 3 are clones, 2 are from feminized seeds, but
Miss X came from bag seed. I bought a couple cheap seedy half’s last year, green kush and sequoia strawberry. Then I got my seeds mixed up. I donned her Miss X cause she’s definitely reverted to one or more of her ancestors, and I have no clue what she actually is. Pretty sure she is and for all of time be one of one.
haha, my first few days here were like that too (like they’re doing the Yosemite Sam at me “SHUDUP SHUTTIN’ UP!!!” LOL). Wait til you run out of likes, because liking stuff too much, is FROWNED UPON, in this ESTABLISHMENT!!! (hehe )
I have 4 Gold Leafs that were planted in early spring, 2 of which are done and harvested already, 1 more is ready to go, and the 4th has about a week more. I didn’t believe it at first…
15 feet is quite a sight im sure, take parts of it at a time if you have to!
Its nice looking plant, but still full of white pistils. It has several weeks before its ready to harvest. The good news is, she will put on a lot of weight between now and then.
If it was growing outdoors and isn’t an auto flower there’s no way that plant could have been ready even if it had some amber trichomes. It couldn’t have been flowering long enough. Doesn’t matter how old the plant was. I’ve got 10ft tall plants that would be much taller if I hadn’t super cropped them a bunch of times. They were started 420 and started flowering full on less 4 weeks ago after 2 weeks of preflowering. They won’t be ready for 6+ weeks probably. Photo period plants mature with the changes in the amount of light and dark no matter how old they are. That picture on July 17th that plant is still in preflower Miss X looks like it’s maybe 3 weeks into flower
This plant is about 4 weeks into full flowering and won’t be ready probably until mid to late October
Sorry if I came off a little harsh it was not my intention
Thanks guys I appreciate your help. I’ve only grown indoors before so this has indeed been a learning experience. I very much prefer outdoors. I planted way too early, and from my cabinet experience I thought I could whirl these around and train them so my tallest cola would be just above my 4’ grapevine fence

Another couple questions guys and I’ll stop pestering you (probably not). I have done this 100% organic, so far zero chemicals of any kind in my garden. I plan to stay that way, but please advise:
So far every time a bad bug has shown up a couple days later a bunch of mean bugs will show up, a couple more days and it’s quiet again. But I have found 6 bud worms now. I meticulously check every budsite at least twice a day, but I’m afraid these critters might get away from me. Are there any organic solutions? If they get inside the bigger buds later I won’t be able to see them until after they do damage.
Can you suggest a finishing tea? I’ll share my magic dirt recipe if ya want, but I’m pretty sure I should be adding some goodies for taste and I have no clue what to use. Thanks guys woot!
I too grow only organic. Had a lot of problems with bugs last year. I started using Captain Jack’s Dead Bug this year. It uses a bacterium to fight the insects. I use it all the way through the grow.
@oldmarine thanks man I was reading about something called Bacillus Thuringiensis it sorta sounds organic, would that be what you would use?
CJDB uses Spinosad. Bacillus Thuringiensis live in the soil. I use nematodes (also new this year) in my soil for my gnat problem. It seems to work real well.
We’ve always had lots of wasps here and I hated them until now. I’ve identified 6 different wasp species and turns out they aren’t so bad after all lol. I had a meeting in early spring with the meanest queen I could find, we agreed they could stay if they would fight for my side. My shop is “neutral zone” but they’ve always liked building in the attic, and the other day one of the youngsters who must not have gotten the memo zapped me. I made their attic village look like Canaan! Red wasps are still bountiful around here but I definitely thinned them out in my workshop.
We have these huge red wasps. I’ve been stung a few times and my wife thinks I’m allergic so she battles the wasp.
now that was funny
Use the BT it is organic it’s a bacteria that is harmless to animals it does something to the the caterpillars gut so they cant eat then they starve to death. I’ve got a fogging machine that I’m gonna use with the BT for all my corn and veggies and my plants.
Handful? Maybe a few lol
