When they’re small I’ve experimented enough that I know they only need a shot glass of water about every 3-4 days when they’re 1-14 days old(after sprouting). Then maybe 2 shots for about a week. By then they’ll be big enough to transplant or if planted in its final container you can start giving more water. It’s better to let dry out than to be too wet. They’re easier to save if they get too dry compared to saving when they get too wet.
I’d also like to add that Happy Frog gets my plants to flowering without adding nutrients.
Once they start flowering and showing pistils Happy Frog has enough Potassium/phosphorus for the first couple weeks and then I use about 1/4-1/8 of the recommended dose of my Flowering Nutes every 7 days. Once I see just a little bit of the leaf tips turn yellow/brown I stop giving it nutes until it shows it needs more through the traditional signs of deficiency.
