GSC auto / a pot for pot first grow questions

I transplant around day 12-14 from sprout. Wet the hole and toss some beneficial microbes in there if you have it. Keep temps and RH around 78-82 65-75% RH for a week or so then the RH can drop back down to 55-60%. Don’t forget to tear or cut the bottom of the peat net :love_you_gesture:

I see 1 root coming out of the jiffy pellet! Should I transplant now or still wait longer ?

Thanks!

It’ll be ok, you can cut the sides down at transplant. No harm in doing so now and putting her in her forever home :love_you_gesture:

Ok one more question. I saw a fungus gnat already  I ordered the yellow sticky traps and also this stuff on the recommendation of a friend who grows. Any suggestions in addition ?

The mosquito bits work really, keeping the air in the grow space circulating helps and letting the medium go through the dry cycle before watering or feeding again. Fungus gnats love wet medium and moist environments :love_you_gesture:

Transplanted this mornin.
Soil in the hole is moist but not overly so. Gave a light sprinkling up to around it as well.
Still have the humidity dome on it because I’m sketched out about my tent RH being in the Low 40s. Long story but can’t grab a humidifier for another week or so. Also tent temps without the dome are like 65-66f. Working with what I got right now…

Good morning Grow Bro, I would burry her deeper if you still can, mist the inside of the cup for help with the RH. I struggle with cold temps and hang reptile heating lamps inside the tents. Very affordable and you can get the 100 or 200 watt version on Amazon :love_you_gesture:

follow up questions @OGIncognito
Does misting the inside of the tent walls work to increase RH? And does that have any negative effects ?
Thanks for any help here!

I don’t see anything negative doing this as long as you take precautionary measures with your electrical equipment. I’ve soaked a towel and laid it in the tent floor and @Fieldofdreams using a DIY humidity wicking set up. Cheap small humidifiers are a needed investment for me in the winter months :love_you_gesture:

Does it look like the leaves are starting to have an issue ? Looks slightly like it’s yellowing to me.
Ppfd was actually over 300 so I raised the light maybe 2 inches and it’s now 260.

Added a small amount of water around the soil ( used a small spray bottle to moisten it. Transplanted yesterday morning and soil was moist then. Should I water a bit more later today ?

Keep her under the solo cup removing periodically for some fresh air and to remist the inside of the cup. Water about a shot glass around the outside of the solo cup every 2-3 days. New growth will start out a pale green at first :love_you_gesture:

Shot glass water dosing is super helpful thank you !

Seedlings will draw the moisture in through their leaves while establish the root structure, the added water every few days help with putting down roots and not drowning the tap root/ dampening off :love_you_gesture:

Depending on how big a shot you like, or for peeps using a measuring cup, ~50ml is a close enough translation for the wise @OGIncognito method! :tumbler_glass:
