Finally finished the kitchen lighting!
Need to get 3 ceiling medallions…one old light had some ugly stuff which isn’t covered by the new lights.
Next up…dining room ceiling fan:

Yay it’s time for BOM!
Looks good.
Looks good buddy next on my list is new stove always something
@Crazy81 thank you!
i’ve got a free Kenmore glass top stove in my garage…been trying to give it away after I failed to sell it.
Thanks @Bentstick
Shoulders are killing me after having them over my head…need both replaced or at least surgery…I cannot throw a ball now.
The fan is going to be a bitch…bet it’s heavy.
Would be nicec but gota let the wife get her a new shiney one but she dont ask for much but when she does $$
As long as shes happy im happy:grin:
Need a 4th hand to hold the fan up. @Growmoredank Or big zipties, chunk of wire to tie it close until wired up. It helps lots I will say.
@Bentstick Glad installing a fan will be a bit yet…we haven’t decided on one yet.
The chandelier is ready…was going to install it but waiting for the wife…it will be easier to get the old ceiling fan down and also need her opinion on the height above the table … somewhere between 30-36"…right now I am thunkin’ … 33" which will leave 8" of chain to hang it…at 36" it’s only 5" chain…I feel like it will look better with a bit more chain.
Yardstick…was here when we moved in…score!
Helped to figure out the height.
Got the chandelier width correct…1/2 - 3/4 the width of the table.
Ours it about 42-46 above table, but where it is mounted we have a beam 11 ft up.
And yes I have cut xtra out, but its one of those things, oh I been playing Plumber since I got home from work plug sink drain in Bath sink, yuuuuucccccckkkkkk, and changing whole house water filters, Daughter is watching house while we are gone things need to work, plus its been needed anyway.
See that’s why I am waiting…she may choose no chain.
I am all ready to size the chain…if you’d like I’ll trim yours for ya!
Looks awesome!
Did you build your house?
No wife’s dad built it in 82-84, he did not do to bad for a Equipment operator, its all post and beam, he bought the place in 54, it was a basement in a hill with a almost flat roof, and built on top.
Love that ceiling always wanted a log home myself always looking at plans but unless i win the lottery just gona stick with what i got at least its paid for😁
Its great, but a b**ch to heat lots of wasted space, but we enjoy our house. And yep it’s ours free and clear. Still paying off the house the daughter is in, 2 more yrs on that one and at 600 a month I don’t mind once paid off it will be hers
Heck yea nothing wrong with that 2 yrs goes by fast
Yay!
Talked with a breeder last night!
I am driving to pick up our next family member tomorrow morning!
9 week old Newfoundland puppy!
We are still on the waiting list for the Bernese Mountain dog with a different breeder…not expecting that until the litter is born…so about May or June. Nonrefundable deposits suck…Sometimes.
He looks like fun! I’m getting to the point where I like the idea of having a dog but the dog we have is wearing me out.
That there is one handsome little man i love big breed puppies lol
