Will that play hell with your humidity? The light reflecting on the pan makes you feel like” which way is up”! I might be a bit buzzed too, lol
It is to keep the humidity up it runs low 25 to 40 percent. With the evap from the pan it stays between 40 and 60 percent. On humid days I vacuum up with wet dry shop vac.
Interesting system to add humidity passively. So tempted to put a swamp cooler as lungroom cooler here. Dry as crap where I am also. Just coming on winter and unit cooling this room now goes 3 ways. Dehumid/heat/cool. Can toss the dehumid out the door…lmao. I really like passive control systems. No moving parts or power requirements.
Nice and clean setup can’t wait to see some plants in there
For winter it gets cold in the garage. I run a small space heater in the tent with a maxwell house coffee can in front of it to help with humidity. The space heater dries it up. Between the catch pan and the coffee can it stays ok. Above 40 percent mostly around 50. Unless its really cold out then it might drop. Garage stays between 45 and 65 in winter depending on weather. Those plants look at me like WTF when the space heater forgets to work.
Do you use the oil radiator? My go to. No pump. No fans. Cold/hot air movement for flow. Wont catch fire. Had big dogs and kids so went there after a few turnovers .
Here my dehumidifier runs 24/7 to keep it 50-55%. We have had a crappy year for humidity.
I’m replacing old one with this. Gave one to a friend so now I’m short one. Need the forced air for the humidity. Besides aren’t oil heaters big. I need a small footprint. Tent is only 28x55x80 inches.
You ask you recieved I moved the plants in. Heres a pic.
Only four will stay. The other three are for the other tent.
Forgot link for one I’m getting.
