Growing DRsDank

@JPhoenixX
I guess a trip to menards in the next few days. Didn’t see a container on Amazon to fit a 2x3 . The container would have to be 22x34 because of the tent frame. Also can’t be very tall. The tent is only 54 inches tall minus 6 for the lights minus 11 for the air pot minus 12 between plant and light leaves 31 inches for the plant. So 5 inches tall for catch pan leaves 26 inch plant. Dam already stole 6 inches from between plant and light. Afraid of growth rate in coco reaching light. Maybe I could use clones can switch to flower quicker.
Guess I still have some thinking to do.

Dude, you’ll need more height than that in coco, my seed girls are 7 ft and growing! Crazy

If you look past my cannabis inspector that’s a boot tray from Menards I made some legs for and have it run into a pump. I actually just ordered some parts to make a better version should have that going next week

But what if I started seeds on 12/12.
10 one gallon air pots. Or start clones and go to flower at 10 inches. Clones should be sexualy mature at rooting since they mimic mother plant.
I would gain 2 inches with one gallon pots.
Auto watering should still mean less work. The fast growth will mean less time to 26 inches. I think I can fit 15 in my 2x3 sea of green.
I’ll know soon I have 8 clones in Promix I flipped to 12/12 nine days ago.
Unless by accident I will not be growing any plant over 36 inches 30 if I can help it. Been pondering SOG for a while just didn’t know how I wanted to water. Have to figure a container to put around plants to do the auto water in one gallon pots. Maybe a half gallon plastic pot and fill it 8 times a day every 3 hours.
Worth a shot to see what happens.
Best part I get to build and experiment. Nice to be ahead of the grow. Last few harvest were good and quality was off the hook. So I can afford to mess one up. Have to wait for the apple fritters to come out of there so about 10 weeks.

I think you can do it with clones. I’d flip them at 12-14 inches and should be ok.

Yeah she is and that picture was from 3/18

If you need a timer this is the one I use and it works great.

I tested my system after I made my own drip ring and I get 6 cups a minute. She gets watered for 67 seconds then after 2 minutes it gets another 40 seconds and it does that 6 times a day.

Well here you go. How about this one. Not wanting to continue to carry water back to one of the bedrooms I have my tents set up in. I bought a fifteen gallon galvanized tub and ran a 1/4 inch copper line coming through the wall from outside the house. I buried the line 6 inches in the ground to keep it from freezing. I used a swamp cooler valve and float to control the flow. Well when I got done I noticed that the valve did not shut the water off completely. But what the heck right? I’ll just keep an eye on it. That worked for quite a while until I decided to fill it about an hour before I went to bed. Then well, I went to bed. Got up the next morning and went into the bedroom next to the grow room in my stocking feet which I found make great moisture meters. The water had flooded the grow room and went under the wall into bedroom number 2. Of course it went under the tents and into the closet. Like I always seem to do I changed the valve after the calamity. It took me almost two days to get the mess cleaned up. So if any of you think you are going to take home the dumb @ss trophy. You first need to come to my place and I’ll show you what kind of competition your up against.

Got the new runoff table set up so far it’s working well.

Of course right after you said Pro Mix I went and look it up. The price is comparable to any other top growing soil. As soon as I use the 9 bags of FFOF 3 bags of Roots organic that I had no idea was in one of my sheds I am going to try some. I’ll be putting together some super soil with most of it. I do two grows a year so it won’t take long.

That run off table looks like a great idea and that dark green plant is so beautiful it’s disgusting. Great work.

Like this. My short tent is not tall enough for it though only 54 inches.
Could do it in the tall one though.

They sit about an inch taller than the last set up, just had to lower the intensity a little bit. I think you could make it work with some heavy training. My nl is only 44 inches off the ground and I could have done a lot better with it :man_shrugging:t3:

The table has been amazing. The nubs on the bottom of my air pots lock into the grates. These Pepsi crates lock in and work as a perfect booster seat.

I might do a little more tinkering on the drain hole other than that it’s great
