Fed the girls tonight and EC is steadily dropping back in line, the increased feed frequency and EC is bringing them around. Put them in their cages before they get too big, going for cola rockets on these. And I forgot to take pics, lmao, I’ll get them tomorrow.

Hey Doc! Hoping today is a good one for you. Love checking in on your thread here.

Thought id mention I get my wine fridge delivered today. Pretty excited to copy your build. I’m gonna shoot for the 68 * F and 60% rH and see where that gets me! Though I’ve seen on a diff forum some start with a lower temp and ramp down rH by about 1-2% per day for a slower dry. Guess it’ll be time to experiment! Still liking the results of yours??

Love it! I set it at 68 and 61% and it came out perfect in 8 days, dry and cured. I really want to know more about how it achieved a cure, I understand the drying part because of VPD, they dry evenly inside to out. Cure has me stumped, but I’m just glad it works!

Here’s the pics of the big room girls I forgot last night. Lol Got them cut, bent, tied and caged up, and that’s just teasing them a bit!

The ten seeds dropped all popped tails and are in Promix.

Tent girls are gettin thick! With weeks to go, they sure are nice and heavy, good dense bud structure, not bad for autos.

Here’s a old photo of my first garden up in Pa. Late 70’s I believe. The topsoil was 18" thick and fertilized by the cows that used to hang their. Biggest mistake of my life was selling that place and moving to Fl. Man I can’t wait to get the hell outta here.

Thanks brother, the two in back have 18 inch colas that are fatter than a soda can, first inside autos I’ve grown in five years! Mostly throw them outside in the garden with a cup of Ismocote and let them ride it out.

Well, the issue in the big room has returned with ph climbing, no matter what I do, so I took a slurry of the worst plant (only one is truly bad again) and it was 6.37 in the media. I took some media from same batch that wasn’t used, been kept hydrated and it tested 6.29, sooooo, do yall think I got some coco that wasn’t washed good enough? I don’t know if I want to try to fix or scrap it and start over with fresh media. I buffered the coco with250 ppm cal mag at 5.8 ph and Jacks nutes. Have a couple bales of Promix, I think I hear it calling my name.Doc, Daaaaahhhhhc! @Low

sign of incompletely buffered coco, or starting water source. Was this from a block or bag? Even though the flush temporarily brought the runoff pH into the correct range, the coco hasn’t fully stabilized yet, and the cation exchange process is still working against you. I think the term is off-gassing.. best move now is to flush again, with 5.5 once in range continue feeding with a slightly more acidic nutrient solution 5.6–5.7 pH to nudge the media back into balance over the next several waterings. Consider flushing with jacks itself. residual potassium or sodium could still be affecting the root zone. Combined with well water, which often has high alkalinity from bicarbonates, even a properly pH’ed flush can struggle to bring the medium into the ideal range due to the water’s natural resistance to acidification. Additionally, Cal-Mag products can increase alkalinity, especially when used alone without counterbalancing acidic nutrients. However I think we discussed those risks when you mentioned flushing with cal-mag water for pH adjustments.
