Those are some slabs! I wanna get into crappie fishing more. We bass fish just about every weekend. I love it but crappie sure do tase good! Heck i like bream as much as any of it

Do you brain tan or chemical cure? Trapping is awesome, you have to take an animal with a ten square mile range and make him stick his foot on a two inch pan. Not that hard once you learn it, I catch coyotes like crazy, sell em to live market, One Benjamin each!

Ok. Well I made it from 17 days ago to 13 and this thread is WAAAY too busy. I will try to come back more sooner from now on. I just had a question or 2…
To this, “I’m dropping the temp 1 degree per day, at 75 now, going to 70 day, 60 night to bring on the color.” Why are you doing this? Because I kinda do but not with the temp but with my light. I start bringing the dark gradually instead of all at once. May be same principle but your way may be better if it’s for the same reason.
Now this… How’s a 275 gr bullet at 3200 fps sound… I have an Winchester 1897 that probably doesn’t fire, but am a phenominal cook. Lol!

Oil is my go to, I take it plain and make brownies. I can’t smoke or I’ll cough my head off. Oil is my jam for sure. I drop temps at the end to express more colors. Some do it with ph but that’s putting them at a deficiency somewhere. I want them comfy and eating all they want, if the genes are there, they will purple.
