Dropped a Blueberry fem photo yesterday at 4:20 and lo and behold she has a tiny taproot sticking out! I’m going to give her the night in the container with the moist paper towels and then into the soil she goes tomorrow. I’m going to keep my grow journal here as well as the app I use. Fingers crossed she takes off!
Good Luck, following along
Had a nice long taproot this morning so into the soil she went. Now patiently waiting to see her face! I’m thrilled to get one to pop!
Happy growing Growmie sounds like you’re off to a rocking start
I see her face!! She broke the ground while I was at work today woot woot! I put the dome over her and now I get to watch the magic happen.
It has truly begun birthday above ground
Removed the seed shell from the cotyledon today. It came off really easy so she’s fully free. I’m keeping an eye on her lanky-ness but I think she looks pretty good!
Continuing to grow and looking good I think. She’s covered with the misted dome until she reaches the edges. I did end up lowering the light height from the top of tent a few inches down but kept the intensity where it was.
Daily seedling post. Responding well to lowering the lights from the top a little bit closer. I like taking the daily pics and I’m gonna do a Timelapse video of the album once she’s fully complete.
Daily seedling pic! I bought the auto pot system and after a snap foo with the local shop, it should be here late next week.
My AutoPot system shipped finally, should be here later this week so I can get it setup until it’s time to turn it on. She’s still growing. I did mound up some of the soil to give her stem a little extra support. The dome was bone dry this morning so I misted that and gave her a little drink around the perimeter. Went back down a bit ago and she’s looking good
Took her dome off this morning and closely monitoring how she’s doing. So far ok, a touch droopy but I know I went a little heavy on the watering for the last one. Letting her dry out now.
I had her in a 5 gallon fabric ACI pots and noticed that the autopot geo 5 gallon fabric pot had a different texture. So I decided to go ahead and transplant her into that one. Extremely gentle and piled the soil up close to the cotyledons. Gave her a little drink and now going to watch.
She’s tolerating the transplant well, just watching her grow. I’ve been taking a pic everyday and uploading it to an album so I can make a timelapse video once the entire grow it done.
