@PogueMahone buwhahahaha. I hope we blow them out of the water! So far we are looking like an undefeated team. If we win this week I wonder if ESPN will jump on the bandwagon.
CBS seems to be on the bandwagon
Whew…That was a close one @PogueMahone
There’s definitely something going on to poss them off. Pull the bags and check that roots aren’t blocking stuff from flowing properly?
Very odd. I run my feed lights on and off with no issue
I’m headed back over there right now to do just that. The sick o Berry is ready to be chopped anyway so that one I’m not overly concerned with but the rainbow glue I just switched to flower two days ago.
Sick O Berry had Baaaaaaaddddd root rot. Just chopped her down and the roots smell like rotten garbage cooked in the hot summer sun. Reservoir has been steady 68 to 69°. Maybe I need bigger air stones for it?
That’s a bummer, sorry to hear about that with the sob.
That sounds like it’s not draining properly.
Yeah I dunno. I ran the pump both ways and everything looked good as far as filling/draining goes. I stopped using hydrogaurd and started using food grade 3% hydrogen peroxide at the recommended dosage of 10ml per gallon. Other than that I’ve never had root rot. I bought the peroxide to combat the damn fungus gnats that have been wreaking havoc on my plants the last couple rounds. Still a few floating about but I’ve nearly eradicated them all. Going to start spraying the tops of the clay pebbles once a day with that mixture and go back to hydrogaurd in the reservoir.
Maaaaaan I’m beyond frustrated with this air cube system. I’m not sure if there’s something messed up with the brain or what but it’s not feeding. Rainbow glue is wilted every other day and I can’t keep her happy. Both of the Berry Burst in the back are now getting yellow fan leaves everywhere. I think I’m just going to go back to my table set up.
This is what they are doing. PH is good, PPM’s are good, reservoir temp is 71 which is a couple degrees higher than it has been, but it’s still within parameters.
I guess I’m now wondering if they are somehow nutrient locked…? That would be very strange indeed considering all I use is jacks with some armor si during veg and some cal-mag every few res changes, but with the cal-mag I have only ever used 1/2 a tablespoon per 10gallons of water so it’s not like I’m over doing it. Mainly going for a little boost of calcium. Jack’s I’ve been running at 80%. As I’ve stated above absolutely nothing has changed for me over the last few grows except this air cube system. I’m friggin stumped here.
Guess I probably should have tagged some people haha. @Covertgrower @OGIncognito @Low @Lostgirl @PogueMahone
Read the above post with pics…You guys think they’re locked?
Can you tell me more about this?
How often are they being watered and fed?
Looks to me they should be fed and watered more often based on that size of container for the size of plants.
Not saying you can’t have that sized plant and container, but frequency of feedings should be increased.
Is this ebb and flow? What’s your frequency of that cycle?
Yeah ebb and flow. Every 2 hours for 15 min cycles
I thought I was having pump issues but I sat there last night and watched it kick on, fill, and then drain back at the appropriate intervals.
I’m not familiar enough with this system to be definitive, but I would try increasing frequency of ebb and flow to every hour, see if that makes a difference. Same 15 minute interval.
I’ll give it a go man. It’s a brand new system to me so I’m just scratching my head.
I haven’t tried ebb and flow growing yet, but the journals I’ve followed have higher frequencies of ebb and flows. If I can recall it was every hour. No expert, and I follow a lot, and that’s what I think I can remember.
This what I can recommend based on condition and appearance of your plants if PH and everything else looks good. No expert on this type of growing, only my best opinion.
@AfgVet uses it and she does the 2 hour cycle with no issues. Of course every plant is different when it comes to feeding so who knows. I was doing a 3-hour cycle at first because that’s what I do on my drip table.
